Ulysses Nunes charged in rather forcefully in the 73rd minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. After 87 played minutes, Jardinopolis's João Carlos Batista shot from a long distance, and at first it looked like the ball was going into the goal, but the goalkeeper Gustavo de Toledo came through and got his fingers on the ball before it flew over the goal line. He then quickly gripped the ball tighter before the forwards in Jardinopolis reached it. 90 minutes into the match, Mandiroba's goal looked a bit too open when Isaltino Nunes came free, but Gustavo de Toledo reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Gustavo de Toledo stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Isaltino Nunes's shot from short distance in the 93rd minute. When Guto Zilles was, once again, overly rough in his play he received his second yellow card and was ordered off the ground. 94 minutes had been played. A collision led to Mandiroba getting a freekick after 94 minutes play. Guto Zilles hit a great ball. When Isaltino Nunes came up free with the goalie in the 95th minute, the Jardinopolis fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Isaltino Nunes couldn't finish the play. Jardinopolis's Isaltino Nunes got a good chance for a goal in the 98th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar.
