Spectators: 5000 (Terracing: 4000, Seating: 1000, VIP seats: 0) Dark clouds were building up when the players entered the field. None of the them looked very eager to play. Wilson Velasco started the match with the kick off. Oséas Linhares sent away a hard shot on goal in the 5th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. If Oséas Linhares had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 8th minute. The ball went over the crossbar instead. Balisa SC's Raimundo de Toledo played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Pedrão Pena in the 10th minute of play. In the 14th minute, Gustavo Botelho hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. In the 19th match minute, Balisa SC was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Manfredo Faria to maneuver through the defense. In the 23rd minute, Ciro Moura hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Wilson Velasco received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 24th minute. Paulo José Velloso tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. The Balisa SC fans' excitement grew in the 31st match minute when Balisa SC's Dida Berger looked to have a clear shot with the ball near the goal. The shot wasn't hard, but the ball still rolled over the goal line to make it 2-1 before the goalkeeper had a chance to intervene. If Wilson Velasco had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 34th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Dida Berger recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 38th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. Oséas Linhares kicked well hit freekick during the 41st minute of the match. Paulo José Velloso showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Dida Berger in the 44th minute of the match. Emerson Albuquerque charged in rather forcefully in the 48th minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. The referee showed Emerson Albuquerque the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play. Emerson Albuquerque kicked well hit freekick during the 48th minute of the match.

The wind increased when Pedrão Pena made the kick off in the second half. Raimundo de Toledo came out of the goal in the 57th minute to try and stop a shot by Carutapera's Oséas Linhares. But to his dismay, Oséas Linhares quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 3-2. Balisa SC were furious when Doriva Bittencourt was red carded, 63 minutes into the game, but the referee dismissed their protests. After 63 minutes of play, the referee blew the whistle. It was a penalty for Balisa SC! Raimundo de Toledo didn't have a chance when a screaming shot from Fernando Urbano went, in the 65th minute, to the upper right corner, 4-2 was the resulting score. Balisa SC's Raimundo de Toledo played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Oséas Linhares in the 70th minute of play. After a defensive mix-up in Carutapera's zone, Dida Berger stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Paulo José Velloso came out of the goal and Dida Berger tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. 79 minutes into the game, Nilmar Vides was given a yellow card after he appeared to trip an opposing player. Carutapera's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave Balisa SC the free kick. Nilmar Vides hit a great freekick 79 minutes into the match. In the 85th minute, Dida Berger got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. Dida Berger struck a weak shot in the 92nd minute. Paulo José Velloso didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Balisa SC. Balisa SC's Dida Berger got a good chance for a goal in the 97th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar.
