The crowd had been anticipating this game for weeks and the excitement in the stadium was easily visible. The supporters of Forma Conceitos booed when Tabajara was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 2 match minutes in a wonderful position. Roberto Saraiva didn't get a good kick on the ball. 7 minutes into the match, Tabajara's goal looked a bit too open when Hélder Oliveira came free, but Cristiano Ramalho reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. A collision led to Tabajara getting a freekick after 10 minutes play. Mo Xiang Qi hit a great ball. In the 11th minute, Lino Hermes hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Silvério Bertassi recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 12th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. 13 minutes into the match, Silvério Bertassi dribbled the ball past the defender and swiftly kicked the ball to the left of Cristiano Ramalho, 1-0. 2-0 became the score in the 18th minute when Hélder Oliveira elegantly shot the ball into goal just under the crossbar. If Tadeo Zapater had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 21st minute. The ball went over the crossbar instead. If Mo Xiang Qi had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 25th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. A collision led to Tabajara getting a freekick after 29 minutes play. Tadeo Zapater hit a great ball. João Adolfo Koehler took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Mo Xiang Qi, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. After a rather tough play, Tabajara's Zeca Cearense got a free kick in the 32nd minute. The away team players looked dejected as the walked off the pitch at half time. They had fought hard, but were still losing 2-0.

Tabajara's Cristiano Ramalho played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Hélder Oliveira in the 53rd minute of play. In the 61st minute Valério Barros shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Cristiano Ramalho saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Tabajara's Cristiano Ramalho played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Silvério Bertassi in the 62nd minute of play. João Adolfo Koehler made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Mo Xiang Qi in the 65th minute of play. Mo Xiang Qi's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but João Adolfo Koehler read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 67th minute of play. Tadeo Zapater fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 69th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without João Adolfo Koehler having to interfere. Forma Conceitos's goalkeeper couldn't reach when Mo Xiang Qi 71 minutes into the game got a good kick on the ball which found its way into goal just inside left pole. 2-1. Lino Hermes kicked well hit freekick during the 75th minute of the match. Mo Xiang Qi received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 82nd minute. João Adolfo Koehler tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. If Hélder Oliveira had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 85th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Cristiano Ramalho tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Tabajara's Tadeo Zapater suffered a sore foot after 93 minutes and couldn't finish the game. When Osmar Silveira fell near the penalty area in the 93rd minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored Forma Conceitos's protests and gave Osmar Silveira a yellow card for diving instead. When the match had been going on for 96 minutes, Tabajara's Ademir Saraiva got an opportunity to shoot a penalty. He stayed cool and waited for the goalkeeper to move, before he confidently shot the ball into the goal, to the left of João Adolfo Koehler. Tabajara were unable to convert their possession into goals, allowing Forma Conceitos to leave the ground with a draw.
