Spectators: 5050 (Terracing: 4000, Seating: 1000, VIP seats: 50) It was fairly windy and cold on the field when Sílvio Brito kicked off to start the match. Laércio Trigo's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Júlio Nunes read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 4th minute of play. If Gino Favoretto had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 6th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. After having played for 14 minutes, Jeremias Valadares managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Cajobi SC's supporters crossed their fingers, but Jeremias Valadares was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Gino Favoretto in the 15th minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Alfredinho Negri prevented the ball from getting in the gole. Jeremias Valadares struck a weak shot in the 16th minute. Júlio Nunes didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Cajobi SC. If Jeremias Valadares had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 18th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. When Jeremias Valadares came up free with the goalie in the 21st minute, the Cajobi SC fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Jeremias Valadares couldn't finish the play. After a rather tough play, AVAN's Pedrão Mesquita got a free kick in the 24th minute. A collision led to AVAN getting a freekick after 26 minutes play. Jorge Romero hit a great ball. In the 29th minute, Sílvio Brito made a precise shot to the right of Alfredinho Negri. Cajobi SC's defense was at fault, and the scoreboard reflected the new score, 0-1. AVAN's Júlio Nunes played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Laércio Trigo in the 33rd minute of play. If Pedrão Mesquita had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 40th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. In the 45th minute, Rui Couto hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. In the 46th minute, Gino Favoretto got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. After some fancy dribbling in the 49th minute, Mateus Gonçalves managed to get in a good position for a shot. Cajobi SC's supporters rose to their feet, but Mateus Gonçalves was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Júlio Nunes breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. The crowd was extremely unhappy with the home team's performance in the first half. They were losing 0-1.

The wind increased when Laércio Trigo made the kick off in the second half. A collision led to AVAN getting a freekick after 55 minutes play. Jorge Romero hit a great ball. After 57 minutes of play, Cajobi SC's Laércio Trigo made it 1-1 when he simply outclassed the defender marking him and hit a curling shot into the right side of the net. Júlio Nunes was left in no man's land by his defense there! Júlio Nunes took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Laércio Trigo, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. In the 63rdth minute of the game Laércio Trigo who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but AVAN's Júlio Nunes was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. Jeremias Valadares received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 64th minute. Júlio Nunes tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. 71 minutes into the match, AVAN's goal looked a bit too open when Jeremias Valadares came free, but Júlio Nunes reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Alfredinho Negri made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Sílvio Brito in the 73rd minute of play. Sílvio Brito fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 74th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Alfredinho Negri having to interfere. Alfredinho Negri didn't have a chance when a screaming shot from Gino Favoretto went, in the 80th minute, to the upper right corner, 1-3 was the resulting score. Pedrão Mesquita sent away a hard shot on goal in the 83rd minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Laércio Trigo struck a weak shot in the 86th minute. Júlio Nunes didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Cajobi SC. The referee blew the whistle for a penalty in the 89th minute of the game. One of AVAN:s players had nearly got his shirt torn off by an opponent while getting free in front of Cajobi SC:s goal. Ronaldo Capixaba walked up to take care of the penalty kick. He was aiming for the top corner, but the ball went just outside the post. Jeremias Valadares fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 93rd minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Júlio Nunes having to interfere. Through an outstanding action, after 96 minutes, Alfredinho Negri successfully got his hands on the ball before it slid into the goal at the right post. Gino Favoretto could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 97th minute of the match, but Alfredinho Negri made a huge save. After 99 played minutes Cajobi SC got a freekick which was hit by Vítor Paranaense. After a defensive mix-up in Cajobi SC's zone, Sílvio Brito stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Alfredinho Negri came out of the goal and Sílvio Brito tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. The away crowd were delighted with the way their team had played and cheered loudly when the final whistle sounded. AVAN walked away with the win, even though the match was close until the end.
