Vinícius Zonta charged in rather forcefully in the 4th minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. The supporters of Capeller FC booed when Mirary was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 4 match minutes in a wonderful position. Vinícius Zonta didn't get a good kick on the ball. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Baltazar Zilles in the 11th managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Rômulo Zanette saved Mirary from getting behind. Hamílton Novaes received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 15th minute. Rômulo Zanette tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. A long shot from Hamílton Novaes in the 17th minute of play was well struck, but Rômulo Zanette made a really good save at the right post. 18 minutes into the match, Vinícius Zonta had an open shot that he just couldn't miss and scored to the right of Wilian Loureiro. Capeller FC's manager could be seen yelling to the referee that Vinícius Zonta was offside, but the referee ignored the protest. 0-1. When Hamílton Novaes came up free with the goalie in the 21st minute, the Capeller FC fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Hamílton Novaes couldn't finish the play. Rômulo Zanette stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Baltazar Zilles's shot from short distance in the 23rd minute. In the 26th minute Noel de Amaral shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Wilian Loureiro saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. 27 minutes into the match, Capeller FC's goal looked a bit too open when Eduardo Rezende came free, but Wilian Loureiro reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. After some careless play in the Mirary defense, Hamílton Novaes kicked a shot that curved into the net to the right of Rômulo Zanette. The Mirary fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Rômulo Zanette should have stopped the shot. Wilian Loureiro showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Paulinho Penha, who was totally free with the ball in the 33rd minute. Through an outstanding action, after 37 minutes, Rômulo Zanette successfully got his hands on the ball before it slid into the goal at the right post. All the noise was coming from the home fans when the whistle went for half-time. The home team had fought hardest to put themselves in a deserved lead.

The referee ignored Mirary's protests and gave Rogério Monteiro a yellow card for diving instead. In the 60th minute, one of Mirary:s players had the ball in front of the goal but got pushed and fell. The referee felt it was an obvious case and blew a penalty for Mirary. In the 61st minute there was a penalty for Capeller FC. Hamílton Novaes stepped forward and shot the ball to the right of a diving Rômulo Zanette. 4-1. Vinícius Zonta kicked well hit freekick during the 66th minute of the match. Oséas dos Santos hit a great freekick 67 minutes into the match. Paulinho Penha did some fancy footwork in front of goal and succeeded to deceive the defenders so he could slam the ball in 4-2 to the left of a surprised Wilian Loureiro 68 minutes into the match. Rômulo Zanette made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Baltazar Zilles in the 72nd minute of play. Hamílton Novaes received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 75th minute.
