Wesley Guerra was a little too slow when Tibúrcio Nascimento got a fine hit on the ball which went right into the goal in the 6th minute. The score was now 1-0. The audience was convinced that Yan Damião's extremely hard shot when he got free in front of the goal was going in, but Ramiro Palban was relentless in the 9th minute of the game. In the 11th minute, Falcão do Vale reached a very good position and smashed the ball with a huge effort into the net, just to the left of Wesley Guerra. The goal made the score 2-0. After 15 played minutes Medonho EC got a freekick which was hit by Yan Damião. 17 minutes into the game, Horacio Ganix lined in a short shot 3-0 behind a frustrated Wesley Guerra. Horacio Ganix sent away a hard shot on goal in the 22nd minute, but the ball hit the crossbar and went out. A very good chance for a goal. Tibúrcio Nascimento's shot straight on target was not completely harmless. The ball had pretty good speed, but Wesley Guerra firmly grabbed it by the left post. Wesley Guerra took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Horacio Ganix, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. An unexpectedly hard shot by Falcão do Vale in the 42nd minute of play forced Medonho EC's goalkeeper Wesley Guerra to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. 43 minutes into the match, Medonho EC's goalkeeper Wesley Guerra had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Diego Capano. Falcão do Vale fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 45th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Wesley Guerra having to interfere. No-one was surprised that the home team were leading 5-0 at half-time.

The players of the home team were most fresh-looking when they entered the field to play the second half. José Batista was the one to do the kick off. After 51 minutes, Yan Damião mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the Medonho EC and the Urquiza FC players grew even worse after the yellow card. Yan Damião hit a great freekick 51 minutes into the match. A collision led to Medonho EC getting a freekick after 52 minutes play. Duda Monteiro hit a great ball. José Batista kicked well hit freekick during the 54th minute of the match. Wesley Guerra made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Diego Capano in the 55th minute of play. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Diego Capano in the 59th minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Wesley Guerra prevented the ball from getting in the gole. Ramiro Palban took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Duda Monteiro, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Falcão do Vale received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 66th minute. Wesley Guerra tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Wesley Guerra didn't have a chance when a screaming shot from Diego Capano went, in the 70th minute, to the upper right corner, 6-0 was the resulting score. 74 minutes into the match, Diego Capano notched a goal, 7-0, to the right of Medonho EC's Wesley Guerra. Wesley Guerra was clearly disgusted with the effort of the defense and let the defenders know about it. Diego Capano recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 78th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. 81 minutes into the game, Urquiza FC's Diego Capano nearly tore a hole in the net with a booming shot. Wesley Guerra made a valiant effort, but he could not reach the ball in time, 8-0. Wesley Guerra showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Horacio Ganix in the 86th minute of the match. In the 90th minute Falcão do Vale shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Wesley Guerra saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Wesley Guerra made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Diego Capano in the 92nd minute of play. Medonho EC's Wesley Guerra played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Falcão do Vale in the 94th minute of play. Urquiza FC's supporters were delighted with their team's performance and swarmed onto the pitch at the end of the match to celebrate the victory with the players.
