In a very dangerous position, a player in Melado fell when an opponent tried to get the ball from him in the 10th minute. Penalty! Ioannis Täublin went to the wrong direction when Chico Viana was taking care of the penalty kick which however missed the goal. José Vítor Silveira fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 15th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Adhemar Munhoz having to interfere. If José Vítor Silveira had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 21st minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Kjell Hernström struck a weak shot in the 25th minute. Adhemar Munhoz didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Melado. Georg Ingemarsson received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 26th minute. Adhemar Munhoz tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. In the 30th minute, Kjell Hernström got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. After some fancy dribbling in the 31st minute, José Vítor Silveira managed to get in a good position for a shot. Melado's supporters rose to their feet, but José Vítor Silveira was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Adhemar Munhoz breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. 35 minutes into the match, Borussia Dortmund's goal looked a bit too open when José Vítor Silveira came free, but Adhemar Munhoz reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Borussia Dortmund's Adhemar Munhoz played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Kjell Hernström in the 62nd minute of play. With a little luck, Borussia Dortmund's Adhemar Munhoz got control of the ball when José Vítor Silveira tried to sneak it across the goal line. Kjell Hernström sent away a hard shot on goal in the 80th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. The audience thought a goal was coming when José Vítor Silveira got free with Adhemar Munhoz in the 87th minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. Kjell Hernström fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 88th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Adhemar Munhoz having to interfere. After 91 minutes, Rafael Terra mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the Borussia Dortmund and the Melado players grew even worse after the yellow card. After 91 played minutes Borussia Dortmund got a freekick which was hit by Rafael Terra. Rafael Terra hit a great freekick 94 minutes into the match. José Vítor Silveira took the ball and in the 96 minute, shot a rapid shot to the right of a surprised Adhemar Munhoz. Adhemar Munhoz dived to the right, and did manage to get a hand on the shot, but it still went into the right corner making it 0-2. When the match was over Melado could go home with a victory in their luggage, having controlled the game far better than Borussia Dortmund throughout the match.
