Raí Leão was not in position, and could only watch the ball fly in. After having played for 17 minutes, Dadá Britto managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Flamengo crf's supporters crossed their fingers, but Dadá Britto was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. Renan Schmidt received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 20th minute. Elder Passos tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Raí Leão made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Dadá Britto in the 30th minute of play. In the 32nd minute, Vivaldo Carneiro reached a very good position and smashed the ball with a huge effort into the net, just to the left of Raí Leão. The goal made the score 3-1. If Vivaldo Carneiro had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 35th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Dadá Britto might have been able to make a better finish in the 37th minute when he tried to place a hard shot over Raí Leão. Instead the ball went over the crossbar and out. Dadá Britto ran back to his position shaking his head. A collision led to Paraguassu EC getting a freekick after 41 minutes play. Ulysses Bittencourt hit a great ball. An unexpectedly hard shot by Renan Schmidt in the 43rd minute of play forced Flamengo crf's goalkeeper Elder Passos to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. João Leal kicked well hit freekick during the 48th minute of the match. All the noise was coming from the home fans when the whistle went for half-time. The home team had fought hardest to put themselves in a deserved lead.

The wind increased when Dadá Britto made the kick off in the second half. Renan Schmidt sent away a hard shot on goal in the 56th minute, but the ball hit the crossbar and went out. A very good chance for a goal. Raí Leão made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Dadá Britto in the 61st minute of play. After 61 played minutes Flamengo crf got a freekick which was hit by Cido Aparecido. Vivaldo Carneiro recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 63rd minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. In the 68th minute, one of Flamengo crf:s players had the ball in front of the goal but got pushed and fell. The referee felt it was an obvious case and blew a penalty for Flamengo crf. Reginaldo Salles shot the penalty kick by force right in the crossbar. No goal. Paraguassu EC's Raí Leão played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Dadá Britto in the 76th minute of play. Vivaldo Carneiro sent away a hard shot on goal in the 79th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Flamengo crf's Elder Passos proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 81st minute of the match, managed to save Flamengo crf from getting a goal against them. A hard shot 85 in the game by Hermínio Guedes from a close distance when the talented Elder Passos managed to make a qualified save. Flamengo crf's players were relieved. Raí Leão showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Dadá Britto, who was totally free with the ball in the 87th minute. Hermínio Guedes fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 94th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Elder Passos having to interfere. Elder Passos showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Rodriguinho Sousa, who was totally free with the ball in the 99th minute. With a little luck, Flamengo crf's Elder Passos got control of the ball when Hermínio Guedes tried to sneak it across the goal line. For all the effort they put into the match, the Paraguassu EC players left disappointed. They had fought hard, but couldn't break down the home team's defense. The match ended in a win for Flamengo crf.
