Diogo Alagoano ran back to his position shaking his head. After a rather tough play, Quaitiba AD's Valdomiro Schmidt got a free kick in the 18th minute. Diogo Alagoano sent away a hard shot on goal in the 20th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. With a little luck, Quaitiba AD's Hamílton Goiano got control of the ball when Diogo Alagoano tried to sneak it across the goal line. After some fancy dribbling in the 43rd minute, Dida Veloso managed to get in a good position for a shot. Quaitiba AD's supporters rose to their feet, but Dida Veloso was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Tomé Gaspar breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. Tomé Gaspar took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Oséias Neves, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. João Pedro Silva received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 69th minute. Hamílton Goiano tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. In the 76th minute, Cleiton Baiano got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. After having played for 79 minutes, João Pedro Silva managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. CHARLES SPORT CLUB's supporters crossed their fingers, but João Pedro Silva was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. In the 82nd match minute, Quaitiba AD was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Cleiton Baiano to maneuver through the defense. A hard and well directed shot from Josué Alagoano led 83 minutes into the game to a goal after the ball had bounced deceptively just in front of the goal. Quaitiba AD's Hamílton Goiano became a little unsure and couldn't grip the ball before it was over the goalline. Thus it was 1-1.
