Spectators: 5000 (Terracing: 4000, Seating: 1000, VIP seats: 0) The sun was shining, the grass was green and the audience cheered when Manoel Marinho got the match started through his kick off. José Augusto Trancoso fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 6th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Matías Esteves having to interfere. Marcelinho Terra received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 12th minute. Didi Souto tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. 14 minutes into the match, Cruzeiro Esporte Clube's José Augusto Trancoso sent off a blazing shot straight on target, a shot that Matías Esteves narrowly saved just below the crossbar. Marquinhos Vidal's late challenge caught a Cruzeiro Esporte Clube's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Marquinhos Vidal helped the player get up and apologised. Marquinhos Vidal hit a great freekick 15 minutes into the match. In the 15th minute Manoel Marinho shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Matías Esteves saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Thanks to some nice moves Marcelinho Terra could shoot a difficult shot in the 20th minute, which Didi Souto however easily saved by the left post. Marcelinho Terra who was well placed in front of the goal fired away a dangerous shot that in the 22ndth minute tested the skills of Didi Souto when he managed to save the team from getting behind. 24 minutes into the match, Téo Vidal dribbled the ball past the defender and swiftly kicked the ball to the left of Didi Souto, 1-0. After 27 played minutes Coquiero SC got a freekick which was hit by Cipriano Silva. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Téo Vidal in the 31st managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Didi Souto saved Cruzeiro Esporte Clube from getting behind. With an all-out effort, Coquiero SC's Didi Souto threw himself towards the right post 33 minutes into the match and grabbed hold of the ball from Carlinhos Souto, which otherwise would have been placed in the net. Téo Vidal sent away a hard shot on goal in the 35th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. When Marcelinho Terra came up free with the goalie in the 36th minute, the Coquiero SC fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Marcelinho Terra couldn't finish the play. Cruzeiro Esporte Clube's Didi Souto played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Téo Vidal in the 40th minute of play. In the 41stth minute of the game Téo Vidal who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but Cruzeiro Esporte Clube's Didi Souto was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. Matías Esteves showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from José Augusto Trancoso in the 45th minute of the match. A hard shot 49 in the game by Marcelinho Terra from a close distance when the talented Didi Souto managed to make a qualified save. Cruzeiro Esporte Clube's players were relieved. The home fans were very happy to see their team leading 1-0 at half-time.

The players of the away team seemed most concentrated when Téo Vidal stepped up to make the kick off in the second half. 53 minutes into the game, Coquiero SC's Marcelinho Terra nearly tore a hole in the net with a booming shot. Didi Souto made a valiant effort, but he could not reach the ball in time, 2-0. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Téo Vidal in the 59th managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Didi Souto saved Cruzeiro Esporte Clube from getting behind. Didi Souto took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Téo Vidal, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Didi Souto came out of the goal in the 64th minute to try and stop a shot by Coquiero SC's Téo Vidal. But to his dismay, Téo Vidal quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 3-0. Osvaldinho Cearense hit a great freekick 67 minutes into the match. After having played for 74 minutes, Marcelinho Terra managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Coquiero SC's supporters crossed their fingers, but Marcelinho Terra was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. The audience was convinced that Marcelinho Terra's extremely hard shot when he got free in front of the goal was going in, but Didi Souto was relentless in the 76th minute of the game. A collision led to Cruzeiro Esporte Clube getting a freekick after 77 minutes play. Valdir Lopes hit a great ball. In the 78th minute, Téo Vidal got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. Coquiero SC's Matías Esteves played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Manoel Marinho in the 79th minute of play. Cruzeiro Esporte Clube's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave Coquiero SC the free kick. After 90 played minutes Cruzeiro Esporte Clube got a freekick which was hit by Valdir Lopes. An unexpectedly hard shot by Téo Vidal in the 95th minute of play forced Cruzeiro Esporte Clube's goalkeeper Didi Souto to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. 97 minutes into the match, Cruzeiro Esporte Clube's goal looked a bit too open when Marcelinho Terra came free, but Didi Souto reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Coquiero SC walked away with a well-earned victory that was much celebrated by the crowd.
