With a couple of smart ball manuevers Olavo Rodrigues in the 11th managed to get into a good position. With a left leg João Augusto Gaspar saved Aiapua FC from getting behind. When Pedrão Freitas fell near the penalty area in the 12th minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored Aiapua FC's protests and gave Pedrão Freitas a yellow card for diving instead. Pedrão Freitas kicked well hit freekick during the 12th minute of the match. 18 minutes into the match, Aiapua FC's goal looked a bit too open when Vítor Alagoano came free, but João Augusto Gaspar reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. The audience was convinced that Vítor Alagoano's extremely hard shot when he got free in front of the goal was going in, but João Augusto Gaspar was relentless in the 19th minute of the game. Olavo Rodrigues received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 40th minute. João Augusto Gaspar tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. In the 41st minute, Pedrão Freitas hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. After taking down the ball on Pasta AD's corner Mauro Matos fired away a hard shot, but the defenders efficiently covered the most dangerous angles and João Augusto Gaspar quite easily take care of the ball. Olavo Rodrigues received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 47th minute. João Augusto Gaspar tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. After the first half Pasta AD were leading 0-2. They had played with great self confidence throughout the first half and fully deserved their lead.

The hometeam waved at the audience when it was time for Olavo Rodrigues to strike the kick off in the second half. An unexpectedly hard shot by José Pedro Paraibano in the 57th minute of play forced Pasta AD's goalkeeper Bruno Rossi to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. In the 58th minute José Pedro Paraibano shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Bruno Rossi saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Luís Fabiano de Sena sent away a hard shot on goal in the 60th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Vítor Alagoano's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but João Augusto Gaspar read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 63rd minute of play. If Luís Fabiano de Sena had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 66th minute. The ball went over the crossbar instead. Pedrão Freitas fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 67th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Bruno Rossi having to interfere. Olavo Rodrigues sent away a hard shot on goal in the 69th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. The supporters of Pasta AD booed when Aiapua FC was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 70 match minutes in a wonderful position. Bruninho Mello didn't get a good kick on the ball. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Olavo Rodrigues in the 81st minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck João Augusto Gaspar prevented the ball from getting in the gole. Bruno Rossi showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Luís Fabiano de Sena, who was totally free with the ball in the 84th minute. David Neves hit a great freekick 87 minutes into the match. If Vítor Alagoano had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 91st minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. In the 92nd minute Olavo Rodrigues shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but João Augusto Gaspar saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. An unexpectedly hard shot by José Pedro Paraibano in the 95th minute of play forced Pasta AD's goalkeeper Bruno Rossi to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. The Aiapua FC fans had already started to leave before the final whistle blew. Pasta AD were clearly better and deserved to take the win.
