Jean Paulista came free in the 13th minute and tried to tip the ball over Thomás Soeiro, but to the joy of Mirim Taubate FC's supporters the ball went over. Evandro Cabral fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 15th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Thomás Soeiro having to interfere. Sílvio Luiz Linares hit a great freekick 17 minutes into the match. In the 20th minute, Pedro Seco got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. Luís Fernando Bezerra made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Pedro Seco in the 22nd minute of play. In the 23rd minute, Deivid Tróia hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. João Francisco Eger received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 26th minute. Thomás Soeiro tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Pedro Seco took the ball and in the 31 minute, shot a rapid shot to the right of a surprised Luís Fernando Bezerra. Luís Fernando Bezerra dived to the right, and did manage to get a hand on the shot, but it still went into the right corner making it 0-1. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Wilson Schmidt in the 36th managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Luís Fernando Bezerra saved R G R do BRASIL from getting behind. Evandro Cabral sent away a hard shot on goal in the 39th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. In the 43rd minute, Wilson Schmidt got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. When the second half was about to start, both teams quickly lined up and Jean Paulista made a kick off. The supporters of Mirim Taubate FC booed when R G R do BRASIL was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 60 match minutes in a wonderful position. Jean Paulista didn't get a good kick on the ball. The audience thought a goal was coming when Wilson Schmidt got free with Luís Fernando Bezerra in the 62nd minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. João Francisco Eger fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 66th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Thomás Soeiro having to interfere. Wilson Schmidt blasted a shot towards the goal in the 75th minute, but the shot hit the top of the crossbar and went out without Luís Fernando Bezerra having to make a save. The supporters of Mirim Taubate FC booed when R G R do BRASIL was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 77 match minutes in a wonderful position. Ulisses Hoffmann didn't get a good kick on the ball. After some fancy dribbling in the 80th minute, Wilson Schmidt managed to get in a good position for a shot. Luís Fernando Bezerra breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. If Evandro Cabral had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 82nd minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. After 83 played minutes Mirim Taubate FC got a freekick which was hit by Vítor Monteiro. In the 85th minute, Jean Paulista made a precise shot to the right of Thomás Soeiro. Mirim Taubate FC's defense was at fault, and the scoreboard reflected the new score, 1-2. Pedro Seco might have been able to make a better finish in the 88th minute when he tried to place a hard shot over Luís Fernando Bezerra. Instead the ball went over the crossbar and out. Pedro Seco ran back to his position shaking his head. Pedro Seco was really disappointed when he shot the ball just outside the right post instead of scoring a goal in the 90th minute. Mirim Taubate FC's manager could be seen on the sidelines shaking his head and muttering to himself as his team had just wasted another chance. R G R do BRASIL's Luís Fernando Bezerra proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 92nd minute of the match, managed to save R G R do BRASIL from getting a goal against them.
