Jhoey 72's Ramón Pires played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Hélder Meira in the 23rd minute of play. Ronaldão Soares could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 24th minute of the match, but Ramón Pires made a huge save. Sydney do Valle fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 26th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Ramón Pires having to interfere. Ronaldão Soares scored 2-0 in the 27th match minute with a shot that went into the goal to the right of Ramón Pires, who was just a little too slow in reacting to the shot. Jorginho Soeiro fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 31st minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Ramón Pires having to interfere. If Miguel Rodrigues had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 34th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Ramón Pires showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Sydney do Valle in the 35th minute of the match. In a very dangerous position, a player in Mororo fell when an opponent tried to get the ball from him in the 36th minute. Penalty! Zé Carlos Capixaba placed the ball on the penalty spot and got himself ready to shoot. Post out! An unexpectedly hard shot by Vinícius Fernandez in the 41st minute of play forced Mororo's goalkeeper Germano Amorim to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Jorginho Soeiro fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 43rd minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Ramón Pires having to interfere. No-one was surprised that the home team were leading 2-0 at half-time.

In the 53rd minute, Hélder Meira ran past the defenders and hit a shot which went straight ahead into goal. Ramón Pires was frozen by the shot and now it was 3-0. Sydney do Valle received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 57th minute. Ramón Pires tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. After 67 played minutes Jhoey 72 got a freekick which was hit by Maurinho Carneiro. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Sydney do Valle in the 68th minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Ramón Pires prevented the ball from getting in the gole. Ramón Pires took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Hélder Meira, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Sydney do Valle scored 4-0 in the 73rd match minute with a shot that went into the goal to the right of Ramón Pires, who was just a little too slow in reacting to the shot. In the 77th minute, Sydney do Valle left the goalkeeper for dead before tapping the ball into the right side of the net. The Mororo fans were clearly happy with the effort and the scoreboard reflected the new score: 5-0. Mororo's Sydney do Valle got a good chance for a goal in the 80th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. Wellington Guedes recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 81st minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. If Sydney do Valle had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 84th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. After some careless play in the Jhoey 72 defense, Jorginho Soeiro kicked a shot that curved into the net to the right of Ramón Pires. The Jhoey 72 fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Ramón Pires should have stopped the shot. The audience was convinced that Sydney do Valle's extremely hard shot when he got free in front of the goal was going in, but Ramón Pires was relentless in the 89th minute of the game. 92 minutes into the match, Jhoey 72's goal looked a bit too open when Sydney do Valle came free, but Ramón Pires reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Jorginho Soeiro struck a weak shot in the 93rd minute. Ramón Pires didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Mororo. The audience was convinced that Sydney do Valle's extremely hard shot when he got free in front of the goal was going in, but Ramón Pires was relentless in the 94th minute of the game. Vinícius Fernandez kicked well hit freekick during the 95th minute of the match.
