Felizburgo EC's Cristóvão Mello got a good chance for a goal in the 30th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. After a rather tough play, Alcobaco's Lucas Silveira got a free kick in the 31st minute. Jarbas Cardoso took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Sydney de Godoi, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Felizburgo EC's Cristóvão Mello got a good chance for a goal in the 37th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. Caio Peres's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Rafa Quintal read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 44th minute of play.

When the second half was about to start, both teams quickly lined up and Sydney de Godoi made a kick off. 55 minutes into the game, Sydney de Godoi was given a yellow card after he appeared to trip an opposing player. Felizburgo EC's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave Alcobaco the free kick. 56 minutes into the match, Alcobaco's Luís Fábio Tande sent off a blazing shot straight on target, a shot that Rafa Quintal narrowly saved just below the crossbar. A collision led to Felizburgo EC getting a freekick after 67 minutes play. Sydney de Godoi hit a great ball. After some careless play in the Felizburgo EC defense, Luís Fábio Tande kicked a shot that curved into the net to the right of Rafa Quintal. The Felizburgo EC fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Rafa Quintal should have stopped the shot. If Naldo Abreu had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 80th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. When Cristóvão Mello came up free with the goalie in the 89th minute, the Felizburgo EC fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Cristóvão Mello couldn't finish the play. 93 minutes into the match, Alcobaco's goal looked a bit too open when Naldo Abreu came free, but Jarbas Cardoso reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line.
