The crowd had been anticipating this game for weeks and the excitement in the stadium was easily visible. A collision led to Ninguem Dorme getting a freekick after 2 minutes play. Anísio Almeida hit a great ball. Hernani Luz showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Juninho Guerra in the 9th minute of the match. After 9 played minutes Ninguem Dorme got a freekick which was hit by João Santana. Anísio Almeida hit a great freekick 10 minutes into the match. An unexpectedly hard shot by Juninho Guerra in the 14th minute of play forced Tamarozi F. C.'s goalkeeper Hernani Luz to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. The audience thought a goal was coming when Daan Ribeiro got free with Hernani Luz in the 16th minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. Antônio Carlos Hames took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Elano Tavares, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. A collision led to Tamarozi F. C. getting a freekick after 22 minutes play. Falcão Quaresma hit a great ball. After 26 played minutes Daan Ribeiro rounded Tamarozi F. C.'s defense and shot a beautiful shot into goal via left pole - 1-0. Elano Tavares struck a weak shot in the 33rd minute. Antônio Carlos Hames didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Tamarozi F. C.. In the 36th minute João Santana shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Hernani Luz saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. After a defensive mix-up in Tamarozi F. C.'s zone, Juninho Guerra stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Hernani Luz came out of the goal and Juninho Guerra tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. The audience thought a goal was coming when Adhemar Meira got free with Hernani Luz in the 48th minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. All the noise was coming from the home fans when the whistle went for half-time. The home team had fought hardest to put themselves in a deserved lead.

Tamarozi F. C.'s Hernani Luz played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Erik-Jan Blanchaert in the 52nd minute of play. An unexpectedly hard shot by Erik-Jan Blanchaert in the 55th minute of play forced Tamarozi F. C.'s goalkeeper Hernani Luz to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Falcão Quaresma kicked well hit freekick during the 55th minute of the match. Hernani Luz didn't have a chance when a screaming shot from Adhemar Meira went, in the 70th minute, to the upper right corner, 5-0 was the resulting score. Tamarozi F. Unfortunately, the ball was poorly hit and landed closer to the corner than to the goal. After 89 played minutes Ninguem Dorme got a freekick which was hit by Anísio Almeida. Antônio Carlos Hames was out of position in the 90 minute of play, and Tião Abreu capitalized on the mistake with a soft shot into the goal. Tião Abreu really showed his touch with that goal: 5-1. Hernani Luz didn't have a chance when a screaming shot from Erik-Jan Blanchaert went, in the 94th minute, to the upper right corner, 6-1 was the resulting score. When the referee ended the match the Ninguem Dorme players were able to celebrate. They had won a fair victory and recieved the ovations of their fans.
