CoolClub's supporters crossed their fingers, but Ademar Coutinho was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. Romeu Damião sent away a hard shot on goal in the 9th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Ademar Coutinho received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 11th minute. Edson Mota tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Ademar Coutinho recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 13th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. Edson Mota showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Romeu Damião in the 15th minute of the match. Romeu Damião struck a weak shot in the 26th minute. Edson Mota didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for CoolClub. Fracassados's Edson Mota played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Giovanni Prado in the 33rd minute of play. After 34 played minutes Fracassados got a freekick which was hit by Sebastião Borges. Ademar Coutinho fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 40th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Edson Mota having to interfere. Romeu Damião struck a weak shot in the 42nd minute. Edson Mota didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for CoolClub. After a very even first half the match was still tied. The players went to their respective dressing rooms to discuss the tactics for the second half.

The CoolClub fans were clearly happy with the effort and the scoreboard reflected the new score: 0-1. A collision led to CoolClub getting a freekick after 60 minutes play. Vítor Vale hit a great ball. After 66 played minutes Fracassados got a freekick which was hit by Belmiro Pontes. Fracassados's defense didn't have a chance, in the 68th minute, when Romeu Damião scored to the left of an out of position Edson Mota, making the score, 0-2. In the 73rd minute Ricardinho Marinho shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Gualter Duarte saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. A collision led to Fracassados getting a freekick after 78 minutes play. Sebastião Borges hit a great ball. CoolClub's Gualter Duarte played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Ricardinho Marinho in the 82nd minute of play. Vitinho Novaes hit a great freekick 85 minutes into the match. Ademar Coutinho blasted a shot towards the goal in the 92nd minute, but the shot hit the top of the crossbar and went out without Edson Mota having to make a save. In the 93rd match minute, Fracassados was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Ricardinho Marinho to maneuver through the defense. When the final whistle sounded CoolClub left the ground with the victory after a much better performance than Fracassados.
