Spectators: 6660 (Terracing: 5000, Seating: 1660, VIP seats: 0) The mood of the audience was pleasant when Patrício de Brito made the kick off which started today's match. Luís Fábio Fernandez came out of the goal in the 6th minute to try and stop a shot by Saboga's Rodolfo Peres. But to his dismay, Rodolfo Peres quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 1-0. Patrício de Brito recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 17th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. In the 19th minute of the match Raphael Simão sent off a long shot with destination to the right of the goalkeeper, but Luiz Fernando Bittencourt skillfully saved the ball. After some careless play in the Saboga defense, Patrício de Brito kicked a shot that curved into the net to the right of Luiz Fernando Bittencourt. The Saboga fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Luiz Fernando Bittencourt should have stopped the shot. 27 minutes into the match, Blinha AD's goal looked a bit too open when Manolo Moraes came free, but Luís Fábio Fernandez reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. After a rather tough play, Blinha AD's Tiaguinho Porto got a free kick in the 28th minute. If Manolo Moraes had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 32nd minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. In the 34th match minute, Blinha AD was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Fernando Bezerra to maneuver through the defense. After having played for 35 minutes, César da Rocha managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Saboga's supporters crossed their fingers, but César da Rocha was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. After 39 minutes, Luiz Guilherme Leme mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the Blinha AD and the Saboga players grew even worse after the yellow card. In the 39th minute, Luiz Guilherme Leme hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. After a very even first half the match was still tied. The players went to their respective dressing rooms to discuss the tactics for the second half.

51 minutes into the match, Saboga's goal looked a bit too open when Patrício de Brito came free, but Luiz Fernando Bittencourt reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Luiz Fernando Bittencourt made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Patrício de Brito in the 53rd minute of play. Váldson Moreno came free with the goalkeeper in the 58th minute of the match, and shot straight on target. The shot was a little too simple and Luiz Fernando Bittencourt could save by the left post. Luiz Fernando Bittencourt was in the perfect position, and the defense had done a good job marking him, but Patrício de Brito showcased his skills and made a perfect shot to score 1-2 in the 59 minute of play. Váldson Moreno received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 63rd minute. Luiz Fernando Bittencourt tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. The audience was convinced that Manolo Moraes's extremely hard shot when he got free in front of the goal was going in, but Luís Fábio Fernandez was relentless in the 65th minute of the game. In the 70th minute, Váldson Moreno got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. In the 71st minute, Gustavo Guedes hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Patrício de Brito sent away a hard shot on goal in the 73rd minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. If Váldson Moreno had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 86th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. The supporters of Saboga booed when Blinha AD was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 93 match minutes in a wonderful position. Silas Vale didn't get a good kick on the ball. The referee blew the final whistle, and the away crowd roared, having watched Blinha AD eke out a victory against a very well matched opponent.
