Custódio Faria was not in position, and could only watch the ball fly in. A collision led to Brocheirs SC getting a freekick after 34 minutes play. Bruno Palmeira hit a great ball. 35 minutes into the match, Traripe's Nilson Vides broke free and took a long shot that unfortunately flew wide. A fine initiative that could have resulted in a goal. Luiz Paulo Mattos showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Lenílson Faustino in the 47th minute of the match.

The shot was stopped by Custódio Faria but with some difficulty. 68 minutes into the match, Brocheirs SC's goal looked a bit too open when Zé Augusto Capixaba came free, but Custódio Faria reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Lenílson Faustino struck a weak shot in the 71st minute. Luiz Paulo Mattos didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Brocheirs SC. In the 73rd minute Zé Augusto Capixaba shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Custódio Faria saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Brocheirs SC's Ronaldão Senna got a good chance for a goal in the 75th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. The supporters of Brocheirs SC booed when Traripe was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 87 match minutes in a wonderful position. Célio Godoi didn't get a good kick on the ball. An unexpectedly hard shot by 周威坤 in the 88th minute of play forced Traripe's goalkeeper Luiz Paulo Mattos to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. 周威坤 fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 93rd minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Luiz Paulo Mattos having to interfere.
