The Sumidouro SC players were disheartened as they walked off the pitch after the first half. Penha FC were winning 0-2.

The players of the home team were most fresh-looking when they entered the field to play the second half. Nelson Garcia was the one to do the kick off. In the 76th minute Nelson Garcia shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Agnaldo Catarinense saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. When the final whistle was heard the away supporters stood up and showed their joy. Penha FC had managed to secure a win in what was a close match throughout.
