The supporters of Jaudilandia booed when Jua was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 10 match minutes in a wonderful position. Erik Mazza didn't get a good kick on the ball. With a little luck, Jaudilandia's Caco Correia got control of the ball when Sandro Leão tried to sneak it across the goal line. A collision led to Jua getting a freekick after 19 minutes play. Nelson Nogueira hit a great ball. If Chiquinho Pires had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 27th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Tibúrcio Corrêa showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Chiquinho Pires, who was totally free with the ball in the 30th minute. Tibúrcio Corrêa made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Chiquinho Pires in the 31st minute of play. Caetano Favoretto received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 38th minute. Tibúrcio Corrêa tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. In the 40thth minute of the game Caetano Favoretto who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but Jua's Tibúrcio Corrêa was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. Tibúrcio Corrêa showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Caetano Favoretto, who was totally free with the ball in the 42nd minute. The fans had the chance to grab some refreshments as the whistle went for half-time. The score stood at 0-0 after a close first half.

The hometeam waved at the audience when it was time for Chiquinho Pires to strike the kick off in the second half. Caetano Favoretto fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 56th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Tibúrcio Corrêa having to interfere. Tibúrcio Corrêa showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Chiquinho Pires in the 65th minute of the match. Erik Mazza kicked well hit freekick during the 67th minute of the match. After recieving a nice pass, Jaudilandia's Vladimir de Almeida tried to score from far away in the 68th minute, but the ball went over the crossbar. If Júlio Maciel had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 81st minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. When Caetano Favoretto came up free with the goalie in the 86th minute, the Jaudilandia fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Caetano Favoretto couldn't finish the play. In the 87th match minute, Jua was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Nelson Nogueira to maneuver through the defense. In the 89th minute Jaudilandia were awarded a corner. Vladimir de Almeida went to the cornerflag to take it. Caetano Favoretto struck a weak shot in the 97th minute. Tibúrcio Corrêa didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Jaudilandia. Jua succeeded in salvaging a draw, even though Jaudilandia had controlled the match.
