Spectators: 5000 (Terracing: 4000, Seating: 1000, VIP seats: 0) The sun was shining, the grass was green and the audience cheered when Júlio Velasco got the match started through his kick off. In the 44th minute, Michel Ortiz fired a really elegant long shot, but Thomás Travassos threw himself and managed to get hold of the ball just in front of the right post. Af the end of the first half the score was 2-0. The first half had gone as expected for the home team.

The players of the home team were most fresh-looking when they entered the field to play the second half. Jano Barbosa was the one to do the kick off. Thomás Travassos came out of the goal in the 51st minute to try and stop a shot by Curupira FC's Jean Soares. But to his dismay, Jean Soares quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 3-0. Jean Soares struck a weak shot in the 55th minute. Thomás Travassos didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Curupira FC. Thomás Travassos went to the wrong direction when Jean Negri was taking care of the penalty kick which however missed the goal. In the 60th minute, Jean Soares left the goalkeeper for dead before tapping the ball into the right side of the net. The Curupira FC fans were clearly happy with the effort and the scoreboard reflected the new score: 4-0. The supporters of Curupira FC booed when Vicente was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 63 match minutes in a wonderful position. Wágner Sousa didn't get a good kick on the ball. The referee ignored Vicente's protests and gave Rony Sarmento a yellow card for diving instead. Curupira FC's supporters crossed their fingers, but Jean Soares was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal.
