Laerte de Amorim's shot when he came free in front of the goal in the 13thth minute, Sebastião Lopes skillfully showed off with a save to what seemed to be an obvious goal. Raphael Marques's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Sebastião Lopes read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 14th minute of play. Baltazar Nogueira could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 45th minute of the match, but Sebastião Lopes made a huge save. Gavril Şimoc showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Eliseu de Azevedo in the 46th minute of the match. No-one was surprised that the home team were leading 2-1 at half-time.

In the 54th minute, Reginaldo Tavares hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. In the 55th minute Raphael Marques shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Sebastião Lopes saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Eliseu de Azevedo kicked well hit freekick during the 60th minute of the match. Sebastião Lopes showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Baltazar Nogueira in the 61st minute of the match. When Laerte de Amorim came up free with the goalie in the 62nd minute, the Izidoro SC fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Laerte de Amorim couldn't finish the play. Cristiano Cruz took a chance and fired a shot far from the goal in the 75th minute, but it turned out to be a dangerous situation for Sebastião Lopes. Araponga's goalkeeper really had to stretch himself to stop the ball from crossing the goal line. If Laerte de Amorim had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 77th minute. Araponga's Sebastião Lopes played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Baltazar Nogueira in the 88th minute of play. Reginaldo Tavares hit a great freekick 92 minutes into the match. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Laerte de Amorim in the 95th minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Sebastião Lopes prevented the ball from getting in the gole. 97 minutes into the game, Laerte de Amorim cracked a shot to the right of the goalkeeper, 4-1. Sebastião Lopes was not in position, and could only watch the ball fly in.
