Breno Mazza got a fine position in front of goal ttaking advantage of the opportunity to rumble in 2-0 in the right cross in the 27th match minute before André Cabral had time to react. Breno Mazza received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 36th minute. André Cabral tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Breno Mazzas short, quick shot in the 41stth minute got André Cabral to make great effort and bar the ball away from getting in. Adrianinho Barbosa recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 42nd minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. André Cabral stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Breno Mazza's shot from short distance in the 46th minute. After having played for 48 minutes, Diguinho Munhoz managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Caracas FC's supporters crossed their fingers, but Diguinho Munhoz was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. Af the end of the first half the score was 2-0. The first half had gone as expected for the home team.

The hometeam waved at the audience when it was time for Breno Mazza to strike the kick off in the second half. Artur de Amorim could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 52nd minute of the match, but Virgílio de Moraes made a huge save. After 54 played minutes Caracas FC got a freekick which was hit by Diguinho Munhoz. 57 minutes into the game, Diguinho Munhoz cracked a shot to the right of the goalkeeper, 3-0.
