Spectators: 7310 (Terracing: 5484, Seating: 1681, VIP seats: 145) Guaribas's Alfredinho Trevisan started the match with a crisp pass. The crowd had been anticipating this game for weeks and the excitement in the stadium was easily visible. The audience thought a goal was coming when Simon Caluwé got free with Zé Carlos Amorim in the 3rd minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. With a little luck, Guaribas's Zé Carlos Amorim got control of the ball when Simon Caluwé tried to sneak it across the goal line. Guaribas's Alfredinho Trevisan got a good chance for a goal in the 7th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. When Simon Caluwé came up free with the goalie in the 8th minute, the Miran F.C fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Simon Caluwé couldn't finish the play. 10 minutes into the match, Guaribas's goalkeeper Zé Carlos Amorim had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Simon Caluwé. In the 15th minute Fábio Tinoco shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Zé Carlos Amorim saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Jetmir Sheta showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Alfredinho Trevisan in the 17th minute of the match. Caio de Azevedo hit a great freekick 21 minutes into the match. Ramiro Simão kicked well hit freekick during the 33rd minute of the match. In the 35th minute Fábio Tinoco shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Zé Carlos Amorim saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. An unexpectedly hard shot by Carlos Fernando Cunha in the 39th minute of play forced Miran F.C's goalkeeper Jetmir Sheta to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. In the 42nd minute Alfredinho Trevisan shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Jetmir Sheta saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. In the 44th minute Carlos Fernando Cunha shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Jetmir Sheta saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Jetmir Sheta came out of the goal in the 46th minute to try and stop a shot by Guaribas's Carlos Fernando Cunha. But to his dismay, Carlos Fernando Cunha quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 0-1. Luck had favoured the away team in the first, and they walked off with a 0-1 lead.

The players of the away team seemed most concentrated when Fábio Tinoco stepped up to make the kick off in the second half. Miran F.C's Jetmir Sheta played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Alfredinho Trevisan in the 52nd minute of play. Alfredinho Trevisan struck a weak shot in the 54th minute. Jetmir Sheta didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Guaribas. When Wágner de Andrade fell near the penalty area in the 58th minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored Guaribas's protests and gave Wágner de Andrade a yellow card for diving instead. A collision led to Guaribas getting a freekick after 58 minutes play. Wágner de Andrade hit a great ball. After 61 played minutes, Miran F.C's Vinícius Lucas shot from a long distance, and at first it looked like the ball was going into the goal, but the goalkeeper Zé Carlos Amorim came through and got his fingers on the ball before it flew over the goal line. He then quickly gripped the ball tighter before the forwards in Miran F.C reached it. Miran F.C's Jetmir Sheta proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 63rd minute of the match, managed to save Miran F.C from getting a goal against them. Alfredinho Trevisan received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 65th minute. Jetmir Sheta tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. After a defensive mix-up in Miran F.C's zone, Carlos Fernando Cunha stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Jetmir Sheta came out of the goal and Carlos Fernando Cunha tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. Alfredinho Trevisan sent away a hard shot on goal in the 70th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. After some fancy dribbling in the 75th minute, Alfredinho Trevisan managed to get in a good position for a shot. Guaribas's supporters rose to their feet, but Alfredinho Trevisan was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Jetmir Sheta breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. Carlos Fernando Cunha came free with the goalkeeper in the 76th minute of the match, and shot straight on target. The shot was a little too simple and Jetmir Sheta could save by the left post. The referee was alert and spotted a serious foul by Vinícius Lucas during the 78th minute. The player immediately received a yellow card. With a little luck, Miran F.C's Jetmir Sheta got control of the ball when Carlos Fernando Cunha tried to sneak it across the goal line. Carlos Fernando Cunha's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Jetmir Sheta read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 88th minute of play. 93 minutes into the match, Miran F.C's Simon Caluwé sent off a blazing shot straight on target, a shot that Zé Carlos Amorim narrowly saved just below the crossbar. Guaribas played a much better game than Miran F.C and deserved their victory. The Miran F.C players were clearly disappointed as they left the ground.
