The shot wasn't hard, but the ball still rolled over the goal line to make it 0-1 before the goalkeeper had a chance to intervene. The supporters of Dexter´s Football Club booed when Flamengo C.R was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 11 match minutes in a wonderful position. Dadá Chaves didn't get a good kick on the ball. Kauã Machado didn't have a chance when a screaming shot from Luisinho Freire went, in the 12th minute, to the upper right corner, 0-2 was the resulting score. Danilo Vasconcelos scored 1-2 in the 17th match minute with a shot that went into the goal to the right of Reynaldo Braga, who was just a little too slow in reacting to the shot. Lino Nunes hit a great freekick 23 minutes into the match. 25 minutes into the game, Luisinho Freire cracked a shot to the right of the goalkeeper, 1-3. Kauã Machado was not in position, and could only watch the ball fly in. Kauã Machado took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Luisinho Freire, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Dexter´s Football Club made a substitution. Rafa Bastos replaced Conrado Paraíba. In the 33rd minute, one of Dexter´s Football Club:s players had the ball in front of the goal but got pushed and fell. The referee felt it was an obvious case and blew a penalty for Dexter´s Football Club. When Rafa Bastos came up free with the goalie in the 42nd minute, the Dexter´s Football Club fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Rafa Bastos couldn't finish the play. An unexpectedly hard shot by Marcus Baptista in the 43rd minute of play forced Flamengo C.R's goalkeeper Kauã Machado to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. 43 minutes into the game, Marcus Baptista cracked a shot to the right of the goalkeeper, 2-4. Kauã Machado was not in position, and could only watch the ball fly in. After 47 minutes of play, Dexter´s Football Club's Marcus Baptista made it 2-5 when he simply outclassed the defender marking him and hit a curling shot into the right side of the net. Kauã Machado was left in no man's land by his defense there! The Flamengo C.R players were disheartened as they walked off the pitch after the first half. Dexter´s Football Club were winning 2-5.

The wind increased when Danilo Vasconcelos made the kick off in the second half. After 56 played minutes Dexter´s Football Club got a freekick which was hit by Marcus Baptista. Geovânio Meireles's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Reynaldo Braga read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 62nd minute of play. After a rather tough play, Dexter´s Football Club's Luizão Nunes got a free kick in the 69th minute. If Marcus Baptista had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 71st minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. 74 minutes into the match, Flamengo C.R's goalkeeper Kauã Machado had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Rafa Bastos. Kauã Machado made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Neymar Shevchenko in the 90th minute of play. Dexter´s Football Club's supporters were very happy and cheered loudly because their team had won after a very close match.
