After 20 played minutes Otimix FC got a freekick which was hit by Moisés de Almeida. After a defensive mix-up in Luverdense Esporte Clube's zone, Ronny Ham stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Giuseppe Goiano came out of the goal and Ronny Ham tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Ronny Ham in the 28th managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Giuseppe Goiano saved Luverdense Esporte Clube from getting behind. Luverdense Esporte Clube's Giuseppe Goiano played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Jaroslaw Kostka in the 34th minute of play. An unexpectedly hard shot by Ronny Ham in the 35th minute of play forced Luverdense Esporte Clube's goalkeeper Giuseppe Goiano to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Giuseppe Goiano showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Jaroslaw Kostka in the 43rd minute of the match. After the first half the score was level. The break gave the players a chance to catch their breath, whilst the managers went over the tactics with them again.

In the 76th minute, Ronny Ham left the goalkeeper for dead before tapping the ball into the right side of the net. The Otimix FC fans were clearly happy with the effort and the scoreboard reflected the new score: 0-1. Jaroslaw Kostka could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 79th minute of the match, but Giuseppe Goiano made a huge save. Ronny Ham recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 83rd minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal.
