Spectators: 5000 (Terracing: 4000, Seating: 1000, VIP seats: 0) The mood of the audience was pleasant when Wellington Maciel made the kick off which started today's match. The supporters of Patu AD booed when Carcará was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 2 match minutes in a wonderful position. Carlos Alberto Berger didn't get a good kick on the ball. Manoel Velloso hit a great freekick 5 minutes into the match. In the 6th minute, Wellington Maciel fired away a shot on goal. He put a little to much spin on the ball and sent it just wide of the right post. After a defensive mix-up in Patu AD's zone, Geovani da Silveira stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Adrianinho Paiva came out of the goal and Geovani da Silveira tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. Adrianinho Paiva stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Wellington Maciel's shot from short distance in the 21st minute. Wellington Maciel received a nice pass, split the defenders, and ran untouched towards the goal. Adrianinho Paiva came out and tried to block the shot, but Wellington Maciel slotted it home off the left post making it 3-0 in the 23rd minute. In the 26th minute, Ronaldinho Nóbrega hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. 27 minutes into the match, Yan Fonseca notched a goal, 3-1, to the right of Carcará's Dudu Lucas. Dudu Lucas was clearly disgusted with the effort of the defense and let the defenders know about it. An unexpectedly hard shot by Angelo Paiva in the 32nd minute of play forced Carcará's goalkeeper Dudu Lucas to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Wellington Maciel had several of the Patu AD's defenders around him in the penalty area when he, after 35 minutes of play, received a pass and succeeded in some way to shoot a shot which went straight ahead into goal. This resulted in a 4-1 score and a disappointed Adrianinho Paiva as he didn't even see the shot coming. Angelo Paiva sent away a hard shot on goal in the 41st minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. The home fans were very happy to see their team leading 4-1 at half-time.

When the second half was about to start, both teams quickly lined up and Yan Fonseca made a kick off. Carcará's Geovani da Silveira got a good chance for a goal in the 53rd minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. An unexpectedly hard shot by Wellington Maciel in the 54th minute of play forced Patu AD's goalkeeper Adrianinho Paiva to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Dudu Lucas took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Yan Fonseca, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. In the 61st minute, Wellington Maciel got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. An unexpectedly hard shot by Thiago Paes in the 63rd minute of play forced Patu AD's goalkeeper Adrianinho Paiva to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. In the 64th minute Wellington Maciel shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Adrianinho Paiva saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. 67 minutes into the match, Patu AD's Yan Fonseca sent off a blazing shot straight on target, a shot that Dudu Lucas narrowly saved just below the crossbar. A collision led to Carcará getting a freekick after 68 minutes play. Geovani da Silveira hit a great ball. 71 minutes into the match, Gilvan Secco had an open shot that he just couldn't miss and scored to the right of Adrianinho Paiva. Patu AD's manager could be seen yelling to the referee that Gilvan Secco was offside, but the referee ignored the protest. 5-1. After having played for 76 minutes, Yan Fonseca managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Patu AD's supporters crossed their fingers, but Yan Fonseca was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. 87 minutes into the game, Carcará's Wellington Maciel nearly tore a hole in the net with a booming shot. Adrianinho Paiva made a valiant effort, but he could not reach the ball in time, 6-2. Patu AD's Adrianinho Paiva played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Wellington Maciel in the 90th minute of play. Dudu Lucas showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Yan Fonseca in the 94th minute of the match. Carcará's supporters were delighted with their team's performance and swarmed onto the pitch at the end of the match to celebrate the victory with the players.
