Spectators: 5000 (Terracing: 4000, Seating: 1000, VIP seats: 0) The mood of the audience was pleasant when Alexsandro Camargo made the kick off which started today's match. Cana's Dinei Terra proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 5th minute of the match, managed to save Cana from getting a goal against them. If Moisés Queirós had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 9th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Dráuzio Cosme sent away a hard shot on goal in the 11th minute, but the ball hit the crossbar and went out. A very good chance for a goal. If Dráuzio Cosme had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 16th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Maurinho Secco's late challenge caught a Taruma AD's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Maurinho Secco helped the player get up and apologised. Ivo do Nascimento fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 30th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Délio Linares having to interfere. Moisés Queirós received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 32nd minute. Dinei Terra tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. After 34th play minutes Moisés Queirós shot 1-0, a short shot which went by Dinei Terra and just under the crossbar into goal. Moisés Queirós could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 37th minute of the match, but Dinei Terra made a huge save. The crowd rose to their feet as Taruma AD's Dráuzio Cosme slotted home a wonderful shot that went in to the left of Dinei Terra. That made the score 2-0 after 39 minutes of play. After some fancy dribbling in the 43rd minute, Ivo do Nascimento managed to get in a good position for a shot. Cana's supporters rose to their feet, but Ivo do Nascimento was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Délio Linares breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. In the 44th match minute, Taruma AD was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Chiquinho dos Santos to maneuver through the defense. When the referee blew for the end of the half the home team players were clearly happier, as they went in to the break leading 2-0.

The players of the home team were most fresh-looking when they entered the field to play the second half. Dráuzio Cosme was the one to do the kick off. Dinei Terra came out of the goal in the 52nd minute to try and stop a shot by Taruma AD's Moisés Queirós. But to his dismay, Moisés Queirós quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 3-0. 57 minutes into the match, Taruma AD's goal looked a bit too open when Alexsandro Camargo came free, but Délio Linares reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Dinei Terra took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Dráuzio Cosme, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. In the 64th minute, Moisés Queirós got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. In the 66th minute Dráuzio Cosme shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Dinei Terra saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Moisés Queirós's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Dinei Terra read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 73rd minute of play. Wilson Luz kicked well hit freekick during the 74th minute of the match. In the 80th minute, Dráuzio Cosme left the goalkeeper for dead before tapping the ball into the right side of the net. The Taruma AD fans were clearly happy with the effort and the scoreboard reflected the new score: 5-0. In the 85th minute Dráuzio Cosme shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Dinei Terra saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Délio Linares showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Alexsandro Camargo in the 87th minute of the match. After 88 played minutes Taruma AD got a freekick which was hit by Chiquinho dos Santos. Délio Linares stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Alexsandro Camargo's shot from short distance in the 90th minute. Ivo do Nascimento fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 91st minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Délio Linares having to interfere. If Moisés Queirós had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 97th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. It was no surprise that this one had ended in a win for the home team. Taruma AD had played much better football throughout.
