But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Fábio Tavares couldn't finish the play. Serafim Negri charged in rather forcefully in the 16th minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. The referee showed Serafim Negri the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play. Serafim Negri hit a great freekick 16 minutes into the match. Luiz da Costa stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Carlos Fernando Peixoto's shot from short distance in the 19th minute. In the 20th match minute, 4kFC was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Cássio de Souza to maneuver through the defense. Pedro Luís Faustino showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Ezequiel Monteiro in the 26th minute of the match. 29 minutes into the game, Cássio de Souza was given a yellow card after he appeared to trip an opposing player. 4kFC's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave Massacration the free kick. After 31 played minutes Massacration got a freekick which was hit by Adhemar Duarte. If Fábio Tavares had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 40th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Carlos Fernando Peixoto received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 41st minute. Luiz da Costa tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Pedro Luís Faustino took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Cássio de Souza, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. When Dito Paiva fell near the penalty area in the 47th minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored 4kFC's protests and gave Dito Paiva a yellow card for diving instead. In the 47th minute, Dito Paiva hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. After fighting hard for a draw in the first half, the players were able to take a much needed rest.

When the second half was about to start, both teams quickly lined up and Carlos Fernando Peixoto made a kick off. Massacration's Pedro Luís Faustino played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Ezequiel Monteiro in the 53rd minute of play. When 4kFC's Luiz Chaves in the 62nd minute got a chance for a shot 62nd didn't hesitate and placed the ball to the right of the goalie. A beautiful save bye Massacration's goalie prevented a goal. After 63 minutes of play, 4kFC's Luiz Chaves made it 1-0 when he simply outclassed the defender marking him and hit a curling shot into the right side of the net. Pedro Luís Faustino was left in no man's land by his defense there! When Cássio de Souza was, once again, overly rough in his play he received his second yellow card and was ordered off the ground. 68 minutes had been played. A hard shot by Peyo Tocalanza from long distance, 71 minutes into the match, got Luiz da Costa's attention. Through a fast twist with his body, he could stop the ball from going in on his right side. Massacration's Serafim Negri got a good chance for a goal in the 72nd minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. Adhemar Duarte hit a great freekick 80 minutes into the match. Dito Paiva made in the 83rd minute of the game a quick throw-in and Luciano Eger immediately put the ball in play. Carlos Fernando Peixoto fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 87th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Luiz da Costa having to interfere. Serafim Negri sent away a hard shot on goal in the 88th minute, but the ball hit the crossbar and went out. A very good chance for a goal. During the 89th minute of the match Dito Paiva completely mistimed his tackle and brought down his opponent. The referee gave Dito Paiva a yellow card, his second in the match, which meant he could no longer take part in the game. Dito Paiva hit a great freekick 90 minutes into the match. Luciano Eger charged in rather forcefully in the 95th minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. The referee showed Luciano Eger the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play. In the 95th match minute, 4kFC was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Luciano Eger to maneuver through the defense. 4kFC's Luiz Chaves pulled a muscle in his leg after 97 minutes and couldn't finish the game. In the 98th minute, Cássio das Neves hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. When the referee blew the final whistle, 4kFC could leave the field as winners, despite Massacration having more of the ball for most of the match.
