The attack was good, but when André Luís Cordeiro in the 21st minute was about to shoot he didn't kick quite good enough and the ball went high over goal. André Luís Cordeiro scored 0-3 in the 23rd match minute with a shot that went into the goal to the right of Armandinho Goiano, who was just a little too slow in reacting to the shot. Armandinho Goiano didn't have a chance when a screaming shot from André Luís Cordeiro went, in the 33rd minute, to the upper right corner, 0-4 was the resulting score. The referee showed Marcus Saraiva the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play. Both teams looked relatively alert before the second half when the referee blew his whistle to tell André Luís Cordeiro to make the kick off. He stayed cool and waited for the goalkeeper to move, before he confidently shot the ball into the goal, to the left of Armandinho Goiano. Armandinho Goiano was in the perfect position, and the defense had done a good job marking him, but Sidney Arruda showcased his skills and made a perfect shot to score 0-7 in the 87 minute of play. When Dudu Barreto fell near the penalty area in the 91st minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored Cafemirim's protests and gave Dudu Barreto a yellow card for diving instead.
