Spectators: 5000 (Terracing: 4000, Seating: 1000, VIP seats: 0) Dark clouds were building up when the players entered the field. None of the them looked very eager to play. Artur Simões started the match with the kick off. Artur Simões fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 4th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Gustavo Terra having to interfere. In the 5th match minute, Vila Verde was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Silas do Valle to maneuver through the defense. When Washington Barreto fell near the penalty area in the 8th minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored Pinduri AD's protests and gave Washington Barreto a yellow card for diving instead. In the 8th minute, Washington Barreto hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. It was joyful for the audience to see Silas do Valle dribbling past the opponents defense line in the 10th played minute and put the ball into the net. 1-0. A collision led to Vila Verde getting a freekick after 20 minutes play. Silas do Valle hit a great ball. An unexpectedly hard shot by Sandro Silveira in the 29th minute of play forced Vila Verde's goalkeeper Waldir Guedes to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. In the 34th minute of the match Washington Barreto shot from a long distance. The ball could have gone into the goal to the right of the goalkeeper, but Waldir Guedes showed his good shape when he easily got hold of the ball. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Sandro Silveira in the 36th minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Waldir Guedes prevented the ball from getting in the gole. Waldir Guedes took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Mathias Gomes, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Mathias Gomes in the 42nd minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Waldir Guedes prevented the ball from getting in the gole. Lauro Fontes took the ball and in the 44 minute, shot a rapid shot to the right of a surprised Waldir Guedes. Waldir Guedes dived to the right, and did manage to get a hand on the shot, but it still went into the right corner making it 1-1. The fans had the chance to grab some refreshments as the whistle went for half-time. The score stood at 1-1 after a close first half.

In the 52nd minute Artur Simões shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Gustavo Terra saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. After having played for 55 minutes, Sandro Silveira managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Pinduri AD's supporters crossed their fingers, but Sandro Silveira was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. Waldir Guedes made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Mathias Gomes in the 58th minute of play. Edvaldo do Nascimento kicked well hit freekick during the 64th minute of the match. A well placed Mathias Gomes short distance shot in the 67th minute ended with a hard ball which without a chance for the goalkeeper went staright up into the goalkeepers left cross. Pinduri AD's Mathias Gomes got a good chance for a goal in the 72nd minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. With a little luck, Vila Verde's Waldir Guedes got control of the ball when Sandro Silveira tried to sneak it across the goal line. If Mathias Gomes had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 87th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. When Sandro Silveira came up free with the goalie in the 92nd minute, the Pinduri AD fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Sandro Silveira couldn't finish the play. Sandro Silveira succeeded to score despite a near miss that spronge from right pole into the goal to 1-3 in the 97th playminute. Pinduri AD's players went to the stands to thank the travelling support. The fan's backing had helped spurr the team on to a fine performance that won them the match.
