Maloca EC's Valdo Fernandez got a good chance for a goal in the 4th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. Mathias Gomes sent away a hard shot on goal in the 7th minute, but the ball hit the crossbar and went out. A very good chance for a goal. A collision led to Pinduri AD getting a freekick after 11 minutes play. Lauro Fontes hit a great ball. After a defensive mix-up in Pinduri AD's zone, Valdo Simão stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Gustavo Terra came out of the goal and Valdo Simão tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. 14 minutes into the match, Maloca EC's goalkeeper Reynaldo Couto had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Sandro Silveira. Reynaldo Couto made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Lauro Fontes in the 23rd minute of play. The supporters of Pinduri AD booed when Maloca EC was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 26 match minutes in a wonderful position. Valdo Fernandez didn't get a good kick on the ball. Sandro Silveira struck a weak shot in the 28th minute. Reynaldo Couto didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Pinduri AD. After some fancy dribbling in the 30th minute, Valdo Simão managed to get in a good position for a shot. Maloca EC's supporters rose to their feet, but Valdo Simão was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Gustavo Terra breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. With a little luck, Maloca EC's Reynaldo Couto got control of the ball when Sandro Silveira tried to sneak it across the goal line. In the 39th minute of the match, Sandro Silveira got a very nice opportunity to score, but Reynaldo Couto was well-placed and pushed the ball away from the goal at the left post. The wind increased when Valdo Simão made the kick off in the second half. When Mathias Gomes came up free with the goalie in the 52nd minute, the Pinduri AD fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Mathias Gomes couldn't finish the play. When Flavinho Moraes fell near the penalty area in the 57th minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored Maloca EC's protests and gave Flavinho Moraes a yellow card for diving instead. The supporters of Pinduri AD booed when Maloca EC was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 57 match minutes in a wonderful position. Flavinho Moraes didn't get a good kick on the ball. After a rather tough play, Maloca EC's Renatinho Falcão got a free kick in the 61st minute. In the 62nd minute Mathias Gomes shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Reynaldo Couto saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Valdo Simão in the 76thth minute had a little luck and got a chance for a shot in front of the goal. He then quickly gripped the ball tighter before the forwards in Pinduri AD reached it. Gustavo Terra didn't have a chance when a screaming shot from Valdo Simão went, in the 91st minute, to the upper right corner, 0-2 was the resulting score. Maloca EC's fans were overjoyed with their teams well-earned victory and stayed in the stadium long after the final whistle to celebrate the win.
