Cléberson Santos started the match with the kick off. In the 2nd minute, Eliézer Couto hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Kaká Melo received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 5th minute. Carlos Fernando Linhares tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. In the 10th minute, Persia Fc's Pedrinho Teles dribbled the ball into the box and hit a shot with the outside of his foot, sending the keeper the wrong way. 1-0. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Kaká Melo in the 16th minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Carlos Fernando Linhares prevented the ball from getting in the gole. Persia Fc's attack was well implemented in the 24th minute, but when Kaká Melo was about to shoot he didn't get a good hit on the ball and it hit the crossbar and flew over. Goal Kick. Carlos Fernando Linhares made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Kaká Melo in the 26th minute of play. Carlos Fernando Linhares stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Kaká Melo's shot from short distance in the 27th minute. In the 28th minute, Perivaldo Mendonça hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Pedrinho Teles recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 33rd minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. Pedrinho Teles sent away a hard shot on goal in the 39th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Carlos Fernando Linhares made an important save on a dangerous shot by Kaká Melo in the 40th minute. 46 minutes into the match, Trucu's goalkeeper Carlos Fernando Linhares had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Pedrinho Teles. With a little luck, Trucu's Carlos Fernando Linhares got control of the ball when Kaká Melo tried to sneak it across the goal line. Af the end of the first half the score was 1-0. The first half had gone as expected for the home team.

The hometeam waved at the audience when it was time for Kaká Melo to strike the kick off in the second half. In the 54th minute Pedrinho Teles shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Carlos Fernando Linhares saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Trucu's Carlos Fernando Linhares played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Pedrinho Teles in the 55th minute of play. Carlos Fernando Linhares didn't have a chance when a screaming shot from Kaká Melo went, in the 58th minute, to the upper right corner, 2-0 was the resulting score. If Patrick Proença had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 62nd minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. In a very dangerous position, a player in Persia Fc fell when an opponent tried to get the ball from him in the 63rd minute. Penalty! When the match had been going on for 65 minutes, Trucu's Dinei Trevisan got an opportunity to shoot a penalty. He stayed cool and waited for the goalkeeper to move, before he confidently shot the ball into the goal, to the left of Joaquim Paulista. Patrick Proença sent away a hard shot on goal in the 71st minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Pedrinho Teles fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 74th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Carlos Fernando Linhares having to interfere. Carlos Fernando Linhares showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Pedrinho Teles, who was totally free with the ball in the 90th minute. 92 minutes into the match, Trucu's goal looked a bit too open when Kaká Melo came free, but Carlos Fernando Linhares reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line.
