In the 10th match minute, Tibirica AD was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Waldir da Fonseca to maneuver through the defense. After a defensive mix-up in Quinin AD's zone, Zé Augusto Maciel stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Fellipe Ceresso came out of the goal and Zé Augusto Maciel tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. Zeca Leal hit a great freekick 19 minutes into the match. Zé Augusto Maciel's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Fellipe Ceresso read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 21st minute of play. The audience was convinced that Zé Augusto Maciel's extremely hard shot when he got free in front of the goal was going in, but Fellipe Ceresso was relentless in the 31st minute of the game. A collision led to Quinin AD getting a freekick after 63 minutes play. Rubens Sampaio hit a great ball. Sydney Macedo made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Clóvis Queiroz in the 69th minute of play. The supporters of Tibirica AD booed when Quinin AD was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 70 match minutes in a wonderful position. Clóvis Queiroz didn't get a good kick on the ball. The referee was alert and spotted a serious foul by João Augusto Capixaba during the 77th minute. The player immediately received a yellow card. After 77 played minutes Tibirica AD got a freekick which was hit by João Augusto Capixaba. Zeca Leal hit a great freekick 80 minutes into the match. Franklin da Silveira struck a weak shot in the 80th minute. Fellipe Ceresso didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Tibirica AD. Rubinho Gerber kicked well hit freekick during the 81st minute of the match. In the 85th minute, Zé Augusto Maciel ran past the defenders and hit a shot which went straight ahead into goal. Fellipe Ceresso was frozen by the shot and now it was 3-1. In the 95th minute the ball was on its way in behind Tibirica AD's goalkeeper Sydney Macedo, but with the help of a sacrificing defense, he could catch the ball at the crossbar. Franklin da Silveira kicked well hit freekick during the 95th minute of the match. The crowd rose to their feet and cheered when the referee blew the final whistle. Quinin AD had won after a very even match.
