Franklin Secco's late challenge caught a YagoShow F.C's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Franklin Secco helped the player get up and apologised. A collision led to Itaibo SC getting a freekick after 12 minutes play. Franklin Secco hit a great ball. 17 minutes into the match, Itaibo SC's Kléberson Paes sent off a blazing shot straight on target, a shot that Fabrício Rocha narrowly saved just below the crossbar. After a defensive mix-up in YagoShow F.C's zone, Rafinha Magalhães stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Fabrício Rocha came out of the goal and Rafinha Magalhães tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. Kléberson Paes sent away a hard shot on goal in the 25th minute, but the ball hit the crossbar and went out. A very good chance for a goal. After a rather tough play, YagoShow F.C's Vânderson Salgado got a free kick in the 28th minute. Wilton Sena received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 30th minute. Fabrício Rocha tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. In the 35th minute Kléberson Paes shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Fabrício Rocha saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Franklin Secco in the 41st minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Fabrício Rocha prevented the ball from getting in the gole. After the first half the score was level. The break gave the players a chance to catch their breath, whilst the managers went over the tactics with them again.

Manoel Fernandez sent away a hard shot on goal in the 52nd minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Filipe Tavares recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 61st minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. Mané Britto made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Umberto de Carvalho in the 65th minute of play. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Kléberson Paes in the 67th managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Fabrício Rocha saved YagoShow F.C from getting behind. The Itaibo SC fans' excitement grew in the 68th match minute when Itaibo SC's Doriva Coutinho looked to have a clear shot with the ball near the goal. The shot wasn't hard, but the ball still rolled over the goal line to make it 1-0 before the goalkeeper had a chance to intervene. 74 minutes into the match, YagoShow F.C's goal looked a bit too open when Kléberson Paes came free, but Fabrício Rocha reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. After 77 minutes of play, Itaibo SC's Filipe Tavares made it 2-0 when he simply outclassed the defender marking him and hit a curling shot into the right side of the net. Fabrício Rocha was left in no man's land by his defense there! Pedro Paulo Brodel hit a great freekick 80 minutes into the match. After having played for 82 minutes, Kléberson Paes managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Itaibo SC's supporters crossed their fingers, but Kléberson Paes was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. Manoel Fernandez sent away a hard shot on goal in the 83rd minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. If Kléberson Paes had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 85th minute. The ball went over the crossbar instead.
