In the 9th match minute, Infinito SS was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Giovani de Almeida to maneuver through the defense. If Dieguinho Diniz had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 11th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. After some fancy dribbling in the 13th minute, Caio Tróia managed to get in a good position for a shot. Gomalina's supporters rose to their feet, but Caio Tróia was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Juarês Sousa breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. 17 minutes into the match, Flávio Cordeiro notched a goal, 1-1, to the right of Gomalina's Hernani Azevedo. Hernani Azevedo was clearly disgusted with the effort of the defense and let the defenders know about it. Giovani de Almeida charged in rather forcefully in the 19th minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. The referee showed Giovani de Almeida the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play. After 21st play minutes Caio Tróia shot 1-2, a short shot which went by Juarês Sousa and just under the crossbar into goal. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Dieguinho Diniz in the 27th managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Juarês Sousa saved Infinito SS from getting behind. An unexpectedly hard shot by Caio Tróia in the 28th minute of play forced Infinito SS's goalkeeper Juarês Sousa to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Giovani de Almeida got his second yellow card in the match during the 30th minute which meant that he had to leave the ground. If Flávio Cordeiro had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 33rd minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Zézinho Ramos's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Hernani Azevedo read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 35th minute of play. The crowd was extremely unhappy with the home team's performance in the first half. They were losing 1-2.

The wind increased when Caio Tróia made the kick off in the second half. Flávio Cordeiro received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 54th minute. Hernani Azevedo tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Hernani Azevedo didn't have a chance when a screaming shot from Frederico Valladares went, in the 70th minute, to the upper right corner, 3-2 was the resulting score. When Hudson Madureira fell near the penalty area in the 72nd minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored Infinito SS's protests and gave Hudson Madureira a yellow card for diving instead. Hudson Madureira hit a great freekick 72 minutes into the match. Flávio Cordeiro received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 76th minute. Hernani Azevedo tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. In the 94th minute, Dieguinho Diniz got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. Infinito SS walked away with a well-earned victory that was much celebrated by the crowd.
