Spectators: 7251 (Terracing: 5440, Seating: 1667, VIP seats: 144) Perivaldo Saldanha made the kick off and thus started the match. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Perivaldo Saldanha in the 6th minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Hernani Azevedo prevented the ball from getting in the gole. Perivaldo Saldanha fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 9th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Hernani Azevedo having to interfere. Luiz Faustino blasted a shot towards the goal in the 11th minute, but the shot hit the top of the crossbar and went out without Hernani Azevedo having to make a save. With a little luck, Seterma's Afonsinho Maia got control of the ball when Dieguinho Diniz tried to sneak it across the goal line. Perivaldo Saldanha received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 18th minute. Hernani Azevedo tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. After 19 minutes of play, Seterma's André Luiz Vander made it 0-1 when he simply outclassed the defender marking him and hit a curling shot into the right side of the net. Hernani Azevedo was left in no man's land by his defense there! 23 minutes into the match, Seterma's goal looked a bit too open when Caio Tróia came free, but Afonsinho Maia reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. 25 minutes into the match, Gomalina's goal looked a bit too open when Luiz Faustino came free, but Hernani Azevedo reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. The audience was convinced that Perivaldo Saldanha's extremely hard shot when he got free in front of the goal was going in, but Hernani Azevedo was relentless in the 26th minute of the game. 31 minutes into the match, Gomalina's goal looked a bit too open when André Luiz Vander came free, but Hernani Azevedo reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Perivaldo Saldanha recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 32nd minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. Perivaldo Saldanha blasted a shot towards the goal in the 37th minute, but the shot hit the top of the crossbar and went out without Hernani Azevedo having to make a save. Perivaldo Saldanha sent away a hard shot on goal in the 39th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. A collision led to Gomalina getting a freekick after 40 minutes play. Rafa Madureira hit a great ball. After 41 minutes, Caio Tróia mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the Gomalina and the Seterma players grew even worse after the yellow card. After a rather tough play, Gomalina's Caio Tróia got a free kick in the 42nd minute. André Luiz Vander took the ball and in the 47 minute, shot a rapid shot to the right of a surprised Hernani Azevedo. Hernani Azevedo dived to the right, and did manage to get a hand on the shot, but it still went into the right corner making it 0-2. The crowd was extremely unhappy with the home team's performance in the first half. They were losing 0-2.

When the second half was about to start, both teams quickly lined up and Caio Tróia made a kick off. Seterma's Afonsinho Maia played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Caio Tróia in the 61st minute of play. In the 62nd minute, Seterma's Perivaldo Saldanha fired away a free kick that almost went in the goal. Hernani Azevedo was prepared for the shot, but didn't have to make a play as the shot flew over the goal. 67 minutes into the match, Gomalina's goal looked a bit too open when Perivaldo Saldanha came free, but Hernani Azevedo reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Perivaldo Saldanha could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 71st minute of the match, but Hernani Azevedo made a huge save. Perivaldo Saldanhas short, quick shot in the 75thth minute got Hernani Azevedo to make great effort and bar the ball away from getting in. After a rather tough play, Gomalina's Rafa Madureira got a free kick in the 76th minute. Hernani Azevedo came out of the goal in the 78th minute to try and stop a shot by Seterma's Perivaldo Saldanha. But to his dismay, Perivaldo Saldanha quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 0-3. Seterma made a substitution. Gino da Rocha replaced Jeferson Recife. An unexpectedly hard shot by Perivaldo Saldanha in the 84th minute of play forced Gomalina's goalkeeper Hernani Azevedo to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Perivaldo Saldanha might have been able to make a better finish in the 87th minute when he tried to place a hard shot over Hernani Azevedo. Instead the ball went over the crossbar and out. Perivaldo Saldanha ran back to his position shaking his head. If André Luiz Vander had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 88th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Hernani Azevedo made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Luiz Faustino in the 90th minute of play. Hernani Azevedo made a fantastic save in the 91st minute, when Perivaldo Saldanha sent off a good shot on target. Perivaldo Saldanha's shot when he came free in front of the goal in the 95thth minute, Hernani Azevedo skillfully showed off with a save to what seemed to be an obvious goal. If Thiago Gomes had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 96th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Seterma played a much better game than Gomalina and deserved their victory. The Gomalina players were clearly disappointed as they left the ground.
