Spectators: 6670 (Terracing: 5000, Seating: 1670, VIP seats: 0) Dark clouds were building up when the players entered the field. None of the them looked very eager to play. Claudinei Andrade started the match with the kick off. In the 4th minute of the match Gernando Machado shot from a long distance. The ball could have gone into the goal to the right of the goalkeeper, but José Maria Motta showed his good shape when he easily got hold of the ball. After a defensive mix-up in Tiago FC's zone, Dedé Ceresso stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. José Maria Motta came out of the goal and Dedé Ceresso tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. The audience thought a goal was coming when Dedé Ceresso got free with José Maria Motta in the 14th minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. When the match had gone on for 17 minutes, Claudinei Andrade put it in 2-0 from a short distance just to the right of José Maria Motta. After 23 played minutes Juquitiba got a freekick which was hit by Joélson Damião. Cafu Dracena received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 25th minute. Umberto Cunha tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. After a rather tough play, Tiago FC's Evandro Quintal got a free kick in the 30th minute. The audience thought a goal was coming when Dedé Ceresso got free with José Maria Motta in the 31st minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. 34 minutes into the match, Dedé Ceresso dribbled the ball past the defender and swiftly kicked the ball to the left of José Maria Motta, 3-0.

The hometeam waved at the audience when it was time for Luiz Paraense to strike the kick off in the second half. Dedé Ceresso received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 56th minute. José Maria Motta tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Umberto Cunha showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Luiz Paraense in the 62nd minute of the match. Umberto Cunha made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Luiz Paraense in the 64th minute of play. An unexpectedly hard shot by Claudinei Andrade in the 67th minute of play forced Tiago FC's goalkeeper José Maria Motta to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. In the 70th minute, Alessandro da Mata hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Tiago FC's José Paulo Batista couldn't find anyone to pass the ball to, so he shot a long shot towards the goal in the 71st minute. The shot went wide which resulted in a goal kick for Juquitiba. José Maria Motta showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Dedé Ceresso, who was totally free with the ball in the 73rd minute. Evandro Quintal kicked well hit freekick during the 75th minute of the match. José Maria Motta came out of the goal in the 76th minute to try and stop a shot by Juquitiba's Dedé Ceresso. But to his dismay, Dedé Ceresso quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 4-0. Claudinei Andrade scored 5-0 in the 80th match minute with a shot that went into the goal to the right of José Maria Motta, who was just a little too slow in reacting to the shot. Dedé Ceresso fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 84th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without José Maria Motta having to interfere. When Claudinei Andrade came up free with the goalie in the 89th minute, the Juquitiba fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Claudinei Andrade couldn't finish the play. Luiz Paraense sent away a hard shot on goal in the 92nd minute, but the ball hit the crossbar and went out. A very good chance for a goal. A collision led to Tiago FC getting a freekick after 96 minutes play. Evandro Quintal hit a great ball. In the 96th minute, Gernando Machado sent off a long shot on goal, but the shot was nowhere near the goal and Tiago FC's José Maria Motta didn't even have to move. It was no surprise that this one had ended in a win for the home team. Juquitiba had played much better football throughout.
