Spectators: 5000 (Terracing: 4000, Seating: 1000, VIP seats: 0) The mood of the audience was pleasant when Jeremias Secco made the kick off which started today's match. In the 8th minute, Narciso Linhares left the goalkeeper for dead before tapping the ball into the right side of the net. The Galinhas fans were clearly happy with the effort and the scoreboard reflected the new score: 1-0. If Carlos Augusto de Moraes had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 10th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. An unexpectedly hard shot by Andrézinho Melo in the 13th minute of play forced Galinhas's goalkeeper Vânderson Araújo to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. MAIOR DE MINAS's Jorge Vale played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Jeremias Secco in the 14th minute of play. Vânderson Araújo took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Luís Mesquita, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. After a rather tough play, MAIOR DE MINAS's Oscar Barral got a free kick in the 19th minute. Narciso Linhares kicked well hit freekick during the 21st minute of the match. In the 24th minute, Carlos Augusto de Moraes made a precise shot to the right of Jorge Vale. MAIOR DE MINAS's defense was at fault, and the scoreboard reflected the new score, 2-0. 29 minutes into the game, Wilton Saldanha cracked a shot to the right of the goalkeeper, 2-1. Vânderson Araújo was not in position, and could only watch the ball fly in. After a defensive mix-up in Galinhas's zone, Natanael Varela stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Vânderson Araújo came out of the goal and Natanael Varela tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. Carlos Augusto de Moraes recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 38th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. Vânderson Araújo showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Wilton Saldanha in the 41st minute of the match. A collision led to Galinhas getting a freekick after 41 minutes play. Amauri Guimarães hit a great ball. In the 44th minute, Carlinhos Valladares hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. The away team players looked dejected as the walked off the pitch at half time. They had fought hard, but were still losing 3-1.

53 minutes into the match, MAIOR DE MINAS's goal looked a bit too open when Carlos Augusto de Moraes came free, but Jorge Vale reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Jorge Vale showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Jeremias Secco in the 55th minute of the match. Jeremias Secco sent away a hard shot on goal in the 56th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. When Enéas Gomes fell near the penalty area in the 60th minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored Galinhas's protests and gave Enéas Gomes a yellow card for diving instead. Enéas Gomes hit a great freekick 60 minutes into the match. 65 minutes into the match, MAIOR DE MINAS's Andrézinho Melo sent off a blazing shot straight on target, a shot that Vânderson Araújo narrowly saved just below the crossbar. Vânderson Araújo showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Luís Mesquita in the 68th minute of the match. Luís Mesquita recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 72nd minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. Jeremias Secco charged in rather forcefully in the 75th minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. The referee showed Jeremias Secco the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play. After 75 played minutes Galinhas got a freekick which was hit by Jeremias Secco. Jorge Vale made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Narciso Linhares in the 77th minute of play. In the 78th minute, Luís Mesquita reached a very good position and smashed the ball with a huge effort into the net, just to the left of Vânderson Araújo. The goal made the score 3-3. Galinhas's Vânderson Araújo proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 82nd minute of the match, managed to save Galinhas from getting a goal against them.
