Lúcio Maia received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 76th minute. Wiliam Salgado tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. After 77 minutes, Emílio Rosa mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the Caxinga and the Joga Bonito FC players grew even worse after the yellow card. In the 77th match minute, Caxinga was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Emílio Rosa to maneuver through the defense. 82 minutes into the game, Hortêncio de Senna cracked a shot to the right of the goalkeeper, 3-1. Wiliam Salgado was not in position, and could only watch the ball fly in. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Lúcio Maia in the 90th minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Wiliam Salgado prevented the ball from getting in the gole. 92 minutes into the match, Caxinga's goal looked a bit too open when Hortêncio de Senna came free, but Wiliam Salgado reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Hortêncio de Senna sent away a hard shot on goal in the 94th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Lúcio Maia's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Wiliam Salgado read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 96th minute of play.
