In the 7th minute, one of Recusa AD:s players had the ball in front of the goal but got pushed and fell. The referee felt it was an obvious case and blew a penalty for Recusa AD. The referee gave Aprazivel a penalty, 8 minutes into the game. The penalty shot was made by Thiago Gaúcho, who made a well placed shot into the net to the right of Recusa AD's Robinho Sá. 0-1. Kaká Godoi fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 10th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Robinho Sá having to interfere. An unexpectedly hard shot by Bruninho Matos in the 12th minute of play forced Recusa AD's goalkeeper Robinho Sá to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Kaká Godoi received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 13th minute. Robinho Sá tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. After having played for 20 minutes, Bruninho Matos managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Aprazivel's supporters crossed their fingers, but Bruninho Matos was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. Recusa AD's goalkeeper really had to stretch himself to stop the ball from crossing the goal line. In the 85th match minute, Aprazivel was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Iuri Rocha to maneuver through the defense. In the 88th minute Bruninho Matos shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Robinho Sá saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. After a rather tough play, Aprazivel's Toninho Lopes got a free kick in the 91st minute. When the match was over Aprazivel could go home with a victory in their luggage, having controlled the game far better than Recusa AD throughout the match.
