Spectators: 5000 (Terracing: 4000, Seating: 1000, VIP seats: 0) Dark clouds were building up when the players entered the field. None of the them looked very eager to play. Aírton Medeiros started the match with the kick off. Aírton Medeiros fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 4th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Kauã Palmeira having to interfere. 5 minutes into the game, Waldir Pires was given a yellow card after he appeared to trip an opposing player. Barro SS's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave Galaticos F.C the free kick. Waldir Pires kicked well hit freekick during the 5th minute of the match. Claudinho Cruz took a chance and fired a shot far from the goal in the 8th minute, but it turned out to be a dangerous situation for Zé Paulo Vieira. Galaticos F.C's goalkeeper really had to stretch himself to stop the ball from crossing the goal line. Zé Paulo Vieira made a fantastic save in the 13th minute, when Dinei Teles sent off a good shot on target. Zé Paulo Vieira made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Gil Novaes in the 14th minute of play. Dinei Teles sent away a hard shot on goal in the 16th minute, but the ball hit the crossbar and went out. A very good chance for a goal. After a defensive mix-up in Galaticos F.C's zone, Dinei Teles stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Zé Paulo Vieira came out of the goal and Dinei Teles tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. When the match had gone on for 24 minutes, Aírton Medeiros put it in 1-1 from a short distance just to the right of Kauã Palmeira. A collision led to Galaticos F.C getting a freekick after 27 minutes play. Rony de Almeida hit a great ball. In the 31st minute, Allan de Amaral got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. Dinei Teless short, quick shot in the 32ndth minute got Zé Paulo Vieira to make great effort and bar the ball away from getting in. Zé Paulo Vieira didn't have a chance when a screaming shot from Dinei Teles went, in the 37th minute, to the upper right corner, 2-1 was the resulting score. With his leg Zé Paulo Vieira managed to avoid a goal in the 40thth minute, when Barro SS's Dinei Teles fired away a shot with a lot of spin towards his right hand side. Galaticos F.C's Zé Paulo Vieira played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Gil Novaes in the 43rd minute of play.

Both teams looked relatively alert before the second half when the referee blew his whistle to tell Gil Novaes to make the kick off. In the 56th minute Gil Novaes shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Zé Paulo Vieira saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. In the 59th minute, Gil Novaes got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Dinei Teles in the 66th managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Zé Paulo Vieira saved Galaticos F.C from getting behind. Dinei Teles took the ball and in the 69 minute, shot a rapid shot to the right of a surprised Zé Paulo Vieira. Zé Paulo Vieira dived to the right, and did manage to get a hand on the shot, but it still went into the right corner making it 3-1. Barro SS's Dinei Teles got a good chance for a goal in the 73rd minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. Zé Paulo Vieira showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Cássio de Barros in the 76th minute of the match. 79 minutes into the match, Galaticos F.C's Aírton Medeiros sent off a blazing shot straight on target, a shot that Kauã Palmeira narrowly saved just below the crossbar. In the 80th minute Ulisses de Barros shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Kauã Palmeira saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Dinei Teles sent away a hard shot on goal in the 85th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. In the 87th minute Gil Novaes shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Zé Paulo Vieira saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. When Gernando Prado fell near the penalty area in the 91st minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored Galaticos F.C's protests and gave Gernando Prado a yellow card for diving instead. A collision led to Galaticos F.C getting a freekick after 91 minutes play. Gernando Prado hit a great ball. Gil Novaes received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 96th minute. Zé Paulo Vieira tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. It was no surprise that this one had ended in a win for the home team. Barro SS had played much better football throughout.
