Alexsandro Luz hit a great freekick 31 minutes into the match. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Luiz Paulo Cavalcante in the 32nd managed to get into a good position. Manoel Xavier was a little too slow when Claudinho Trancoso got a fine hit on the ball which went right into the goal in the 45th minute. The score was now 2-0.

The referee felt it was an obvious case and blew a penalty for Athletic Los Vikingos. Téo Fonseca shot the penalty kick by force right in the crossbar. No goal. If Percival Neves had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 61st minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. 63 minutes into the game, Gino Goiano cracked a shot to the right of the goalkeeper, 3-0.
