An unexpectedly hard shot by Zé Augusto Marinho in the 3rd minute of play forced Himalaia EC's goalkeeper Rony Leite to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. After some fancy dribbling in the 5th minute, Flávio Saraiva managed to get in a good position for a shot. Himalaia EC's supporters rose to their feet, but Flávio Saraiva was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. William Miranda breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. Duda dos Santos hit a great freekick 8 minutes into the match. Rony Leite showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Paulo Renato Ramos in the 9th minute of the match. William Miranda made an important save on a dangerous shot by Flávio Saraiva in the 14th minute. In the 19th match minute, Uzamigos Futebol Clube was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Marcinho Montenegro to maneuver through the defense. 21 minutes in the game Tiago Gabriel da Costa after having made a beautiful turn got a great opportunity to score and fired away a shot that went just to the left past a relieved William Miranda. A very good opportunity. 24 minutes into the game, Rui Correia was given a yellow card after he appeared to trip an opposing player. Uzamigos Futebol Clube's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave Himalaia EC the free kick. 23 minutes into the game, one of Uzamigos Futebol Clube:s players got tackled near the goal, and the referee blew for a penalty. In the 25th minute there was a penalty for Himalaia EC. Tiago Gabriel da Costa stepped forward and shot the ball to the right of a diving William Miranda. 1-0. Duda dos Santos took a chance and fired a shot far from the goal in the 28th minute, but it turned out to be a dangerous situation for William Miranda. Uzamigos Futebol Clube's goalkeeper really had to stretch himself to stop the ball from crossing the goal line. Rodriguinho Vaz hit a great freekick 34 minutes into the match. Válter Santos recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 39th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. William Miranda showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Válter Santos, who was totally free with the ball in the 42nd minute. Himalaia EC's Flávio Saraiva got a good chance for a goal in the 43rd minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. Uzamigos Futebol Clube's William Miranda played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Válter Santos in the 48th minute of play. No-one was surprised that the home team were leading 1-0 at half-time.

If Flávio Saraiva had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 51st minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. After a defensive mix-up in Uzamigos Futebol Clube's zone, Válter Santos stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. William Miranda came out of the goal and Válter Santos tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. In the 55th minute of the match Duda dos Santos sent off a long shot with destination to the right of the goalkeeper, but William Miranda skillfully saved the ball. Uzamigos Futebol Clube's William Miranda played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Válter Santos in the 57th minute of play. Flávio Saraiva took the ball and in the 58 minute, shot a rapid shot to the right of a surprised William Miranda. William Miranda dived to the right, and did manage to get a hand on the shot, but it still went into the right corner making it 2-0. Rodriguinho Vaz's late challenge caught a Uzamigos Futebol Clube's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Rodriguinho Vaz helped the player get up and apologised. The supporters of Uzamigos Futebol Clube booed when Himalaia EC was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 62 match minutes in a wonderful position. Rodriguinho Vaz didn't get a good kick on the ball. With a little luck, Himalaia EC's Rony Leite got control of the ball when Adalberto Abreu tried to sneak it across the goal line. Flávio Saraiva fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 74th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without William Miranda having to interfere. They had won a fair victory and recieved the ovations of their fans.
