Luan Hoffmann made in the 11th minute of the game a quick throw-in and Luiz Paulo Cavalcante immediately put the ball in play. William Miranda stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Luiz Paulo Cavalcante's shot from short distance in the 12th minute. In the 13th match minute, Uzamigos Futebol Clube was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Ramiro Cruz to maneuver through the defense. In the 14th minute the ball was on its way in behind Uzamigos Futebol Clube's goalkeeper William Miranda, but with the help of a sacrificing defense, he could catch the ball at the crossbar. Adalberto Abreu sent away a hard shot on goal in the 17th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. In the 20th minute Paulo Renato Ramos shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Manoel Xavier saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Adalberto Abreu struck a weak shot in the 33rd minute. Manoel Xavier didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Uzamigos Futebol Clube. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Luiz Paulo Cavalcante in the 37th minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck William Miranda prevented the ball from getting in the gole. William Miranda made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Luiz Paulo Cavalcante in the 39th minute of play. In the 41st match minute, Athletic Los Vikingos was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Aníbal Faria to maneuver through the defense. After a defensive mix-up in Uzamigos Futebol Clube's zone, Luiz Paulo Cavalcante stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. William Miranda came out of the goal and Luiz Paulo Cavalcante tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. The score stood at 0-0 when the half time whistle went. Both sets of players seemed reasonably pleased with how the match was going.

Manoel Xavier showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Paulo Renato Ramos in the 53rd minute of the match. William Miranda made a fantastic save in the 54th minute, when Jarbas Queirós sent off a good shot on target. In the 55th minute Paulo Renato Ramos shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Manoel Xavier saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line.
