Rodriguinho de Barros tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Rodriguinho de Barros showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Manoel Ortiz, who was totally free with the ball in the 17th minute. If Pedro Paulo Meira had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 20th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Benjamim Faria kicked well hit freekick during the 21st minute of the match. Dráusio Amorim struck a weak shot in the 23rd minute. Célio Mazza didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Dende EC. After some fancy dribbling in the 26th minute, Manoel Ortiz managed to get in a good position for a shot. Mumbaba EC's supporters rose to their feet, but Manoel Ortiz was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Rodriguinho de Barros breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. Mumbaba EC's Célio Mazza played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Dráusio Amorim in the 32nd minute of play. Pedro Paulo Meira recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 36th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. Rodriguinho de Barros showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Manoel Ortiz in the 37th minute of the match. Mumbaba EC's Pedro Paulo Meira got a good chance for a goal in the 38th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. Célio Mazza showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Dráusio Amorim, who was totally free with the ball in the 42nd minute. Rodriguinho de Barros stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Manoel Ortiz's shot from short distance in the 44th minute. If Pedro Paulo Meira had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 45th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Rodriguinho de Barros made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Manoel Ortiz in the 47th minute of play.

An unexpectedly hard shot by Manoel Ortiz in the 52nd minute of play forced Dende EC's goalkeeper Rodriguinho de Barros to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. 53 minutes into the match, Mumbaba EC's Pedro Paulo Meira sent off a blazing shot straight on target, a shot that Rodriguinho de Barros narrowly saved just below the crossbar. 56 minutes into the match, Dende EC's goalkeeper Rodriguinho de Barros had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Pedro Paulo Meira. In the 57th match minute, Dende EC was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Benjamim Faria to maneuver through the defense. Manoel Ortiz received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 58th minute. Rodriguinho de Barros tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. After 65 minutes of play, Mumbaba EC's Pedro Paulo Meira made it 0-1 when he simply outclassed the defender marking him and hit a curling shot into the right side of the net. Rodriguinho de Barros was left in no man's land by his defense there! 69 minutes into the match, Rony Luz notched a goal, 1-1, to the right of Mumbaba EC's Célio Mazza. Célio Mazza was clearly disgusted with the effort of the defense and let the defenders know about it. Rodriguinho de Barros made an important save on a dangerous shot by Pedro Paulo Meira in the 72nd minute. After 81 played minutes Mumbaba EC got a freekick which was hit by Ismael Vale. In the 82nd minute, Fábio Abraão got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. Manoel Ortiz blasted a shot towards the goal in the 86th minute, but the shot hit the top of the crossbar and went out without Rodriguinho de Barros having to make a save. In the 89thth minute of the game Rony Luz who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but Mumbaba EC's Célio Mazza was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. Ismael Vale hit a great freekick 91 minutes into the match. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Rony Luz in the 94th managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Célio Mazza saved Mumbaba EC from getting behind. If Pedro Paulo Meira had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 96th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. The teams fought very hard right up to the final whistle. Both sets of players were happy to go away with a draw.
