Spectators: 5000 (Terracing: 4000, Seating: 1000, VIP seats: 0) It was fairly windy and cold on the field when João Vítor do Nascimento kicked off to start the match. Jucururi's supporters crossed their fingers, but Tiago Gabriel Gaúcho was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. Wanderson Magalhães made a fantastic save in the 16th minute, when Tiago Gabriel Gaúcho sent off a good shot on target. If Sydney Mendes had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 18th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. In the 20th minute, Wanderson Coutinho got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. In the 24thth minute of the game Wanderson Coutinho who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but Jucururi's Remo da Fonseca was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. Wanderson Coutinho recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 27th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. 28 minutes into the game, Sydney Mendes cracked a shot to the right of the goalkeeper, 1-1. Remo da Fonseca was not in position, and could only watch the ball fly in. Sydney Mendes sent away a hard shot on goal in the 32nd minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Remo da Fonseca showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Wanderson Coutinho in the 36th minute of the match. João Vítor do Nascimento blasted a shot towards the goal in the 38th minute, but the shot hit the top of the crossbar and went out without Wanderson Magalhães having to make a save. Af the end of the first half the score was 2-1. The first half had gone as expected for the home team.

The players of the home team were most fresh-looking when they entered the field to play the second half. Remo da Fonseca showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Wanderson Coutinho in the 72nd minute of the match. Wanderson Magalhães showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Tiago Gabriel Gaúcho, who was totally free with the ball in the 76th minute. Sydney Mendes could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 80th minute of the match, but Remo da Fonseca made a huge save. Jucururi's Remo da Fonseca proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 85th minute of the match, managed to save Jucururi from getting a goal against them. After 88 played minutes, Jucururi's Christiano Leal shot from a long distance, and at first it looked like the ball was going into the goal, but the goalkeeper Wanderson Magalhães came through and got his fingers on the ball before it flew over the goal line. He then quickly gripped the ball tighter before the forwards in Jucururi reached it. Benê Carioca charged in rather forcefully in the 92nd minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. The referee showed Benê Carioca the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play. In the 92nd match minute, Jucururi was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Benê Carioca to maneuver through the defense. For all the effort they put into the match, the Simões filho BA players left disappointed. They had fought hard, but couldn't break down the home team's defense. The match ended in a win for Jucururi.
