Targinos AD's William Antunes was standing unmarked in front of the goal when he, in the 3rd play minute, got the ball and easily drilled it into the goal. 6 minutes into the match, Port Charlotte FC's goalkeeper Chicão Aguiar had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by William Antunes. In the 14th minute the ball was on its way in behind Targinos AD's goalkeeper Magno Nogueira, but with the help of a sacrificing defense, he could catch the ball at the crossbar. After a rather tough play, Port Charlotte FC's Vicente de Souza got a free kick in the 15th minute. Port Charlotte FC's Chicão Aguiar played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by William Antunes in the 18th minute of play. William Antunes fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 20th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Chicão Aguiar having to interfere. In the 22nd minute, Port Charlotte FC's goalie took a deep sigh of relief after William Antunes fired away a hard shot that went just outside the left post. In the 24th minute William Antunes shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Chicão Aguiar saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. In the 26th minute, Rubinho Arruda hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. In the 29th minute Cauã Lago shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Magno Nogueira saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. The supporters of Targinos AD booed when Port Charlotte FC was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 30 match minutes in a wonderful position. Cauã Lago didn't get a good kick on the ball. When the match had gone on for 39 minutes, William Antunes took a quick shot and it went in 2-0 without a chance for Chicão Aguiar to make any attempt to save it. Júlio Lago fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 43rd minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Chicão Aguiar having to interfere. In the 45th minute, Targinos AD's William Antunes ran free of his marker and smoothly shot the ball into the goal behind Chicão Aguiar. Chicão Aguiar yelled at his defense, as they had left him out to dry. 3-0. The away team players looked dejected as the walked off the pitch at half time. They had fought hard, but were still losing 3-0.

The hometeam waved at the audience when it was time for Rubinho Arruda to strike the kick off in the second half. In the 61st minute, Marcelinho Silveira ran past the defenders and hit a shot which went straight ahead into goal. Chicão Aguiar was frozen by the shot and now it was 4-0. William Antunes took the ball and in the 64 minute, shot a rapid shot to the right of a surprised Chicão Aguiar. Chicão Aguiar dived to the right, and did manage to get a hand on the shot, but it still went into the right corner making it 5-0. When Cauã Lago came up free with the goalie in the 69th minute, the Port Charlotte FC fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Cauã Lago couldn't finish the play. 71 minutes into the match, Port Charlotte FC's goal looked a bit too open when William Antunes came free, but Chicão Aguiar reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Chicão Aguiar showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from William Antunes in the 73rd minute of the match. Frédson Teles made in the 74th minute of the game a throw-in that took a bad bounce and was taken care of by Port Charlotte FC's Waldir Velasco. 76 minutes into the match, Port Charlotte FC's goal looked a bit too open when William Antunes came free, but Chicão Aguiar reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Chicão Aguiar took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Marcelinho Silveira, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. After a defensive mix-up in Port Charlotte FC's zone, William Antunes stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Chicão Aguiar came out of the goal and William Antunes tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. Chicão Aguiar took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from William Antunes, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. In the 95th minute, Júlio Lago hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Targinos AD's supporters were highly satisfied with the result. They cheered their team of the pitch, having watched them win a very even match.
