Murilo Maia took the ball and in the 33 minute, shot a rapid shot to the right of a surprised Luisão Monteiro. Luisão Monteiro dived to the right, and did manage to get a hand on the shot, but it still went into the right corner making it 0-3. In the 36th minute Cleiton Toledo shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Luisão Monteiro saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. After 46 minutes of play, Coluna's Murilo Maia made it 0-4 when he simply outclassed the defender marking him and hit a curling shot into the right side of the net. Luisão Monteiro was left in no man's land by his defense there! Even after changing tactics the home team jogged off the field with a 0-4 deficit. They would have to work harder if they wanted to turn things around in the second half.

The wind increased when Luiz Fernando Linhares made the kick off in the second half. Luisão Monteiro showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Murilo Maia, who was totally free with the ball in the 53rd minute. Adalberto Jacinto sent away a hard shot on goal in the 54th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Luisão Monteiro showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Murilo Maia in the 56th minute of the match. 62 minutes into the match, Brusquelona F.C's goalkeeper Luisão Monteiro had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Gilson Gaspar. After a rather tough play, Brusquelona F.C's Clóvis Cordeiro got a free kick in the 62nd minute. The crowd rose to their feet as Coluna's Cleiton Toledo slotted home a wonderful shot that went in to the left of Luisão Monteiro. That made the score 1-6 after 84 minutes of play. Adalberto Jacinto sent away a hard shot on goal in the 90th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Adalberto Jacinto was extremely unlucky when he, in the 93rd minute, took a shot that hit the right post and went out. In the 95th minute, Vágner Mello hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Coluna played a much better game than Brusquelona F.C and deserved their victory. The Brusquelona F.C players were clearly disappointed as they left the ground.
