Sven-Oskar Jönsson didn't have a chance when a screaming shot from Cássio Maranhense went, in the 5th minute, to the upper right corner, 0-1 was the resulting score. If Cássio Maranhense had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 8th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Albertinho Tande made a fantastic save in the 14th minute, when Samuca de Mendonça sent off a good shot on target. The audience thought a goal was coming when Samuca de Mendonça got free with Albertinho Tande in the 17th minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. A collision led to Salvador F.C getting a freekick after 20 minutes play. Armandinho Nunes hit a great ball. Álvaro Mandrak fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 23rd minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Albertinho Tande having to interfere. Caboclinho's Albertinho Tande played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Álvaro Mandrak in the 29th minute of play. Albertinho Tande made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from João Pedro de Castro in the 31st minute of play. The supporters of Salvador F.C booed when Caboclinho was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 33 match minutes in a wonderful position. Nilmar Corrêa didn't get a good kick on the ball. An unexpected shot in the 41st minute by Samuca de Mendonça got the crowd on their feet, but to their dismay it went out on the left side. After the first half the score was level. The break gave the players a chance to catch their breath, whilst the managers went over the tactics with them again.

Samuca de Mendonça fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 54th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Albertinho Tande having to interfere. When Salvador F.C's Samuca de Mendonça in the 56th minute got a chance for a shot 56th didn't hesitate and placed the ball to the right of the goalie. A beautiful save bye Caboclinho's goalie prevented a goal. 60 minutes into the match, Caboclinho's goal looked a bit too open when Samuca de Mendonça came free, but Albertinho Tande reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Samuca de Mendonça sent away a hard shot on goal in the 62nd minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Albertinho Tande showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Pascal Krijnenburg in the 64th minute of the match. Pascal Krijnenburg hit a great freekick 72 minutes into the match. In the 73rd minute of the match Benjamim Travassos sent off a long shot with destination to the right of the goalkeeper, but Sven-Oskar Jönsson skillfully saved the ball. In the 74th minute Samuca de Mendonça shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Albertinho Tande saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Albertinho Tande made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Álvaro Mandrak in the 76th minute of play. Albertinho Tande came out of the goal in the 77th minute to try and stop a shot by Salvador F.C's Samuca de Mendonça. But to his dismay, Samuca de Mendonça quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 2-1. João Pedro de Castro kicked well hit freekick during the 80th minute of the match. Salvador F.C's Sven-Oskar Jönsson played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Renatinho Nascimento in the 81st minute of play. Caboclinho's Albertinho Tande played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Samuca de Mendonça in the 82nd minute of play. Benjamim Travassos, 96 minutes into the match, dribbled the ball up the side of the field and decided to take a long shot at the goal. Unfortunately, the ball was poorly hit and landed closer to the corner than to the goal. Salvador F.C's supporters were delighted with their team's performance and swarmed onto the pitch at the end of the match to celebrate the victory with the players.
